ComputerBuck's Biblical Prophecy Thread...

With mythical events I don't actually consider anything important at all. But it sounded as if you had a "scientific" explanation regarding how much rain there was. So please give us your scientific explanation of the amount , duration, or whatever that explains this event.

I do as well......for at least one, it's almost an obsession.
It's a bizarre thing to say. Loathe something that doesn't even exist? How is that even possible? Now the god of the Bible , mythical as that thing is, would be a completely evil POS. So I guess you could say I loathe the delusional concept Christians see as a god.

I said nothing of the sort. The specific number of kiloliters is not relevant, as the answer would remain the same regardless of whether it all came down all at once, or was spread out over 40 days, 100 days or 1,000 days.

If I poke a hole in the bottom of a milk jug and let the contents drip out slowly, it would eventually lose the exact same volume of liquid as it would if I just turned the container upside down and dumped it all out at once.

Are we seriously arguing about this?

If the waters came from above AND below, the rainfall estimates would be unsolvable.

Presuming Mount Everest existed at the time and was covered with water, one can calculated ho much water would be needed relative to MSL today. It's a lot.

You keep proffering the argument of "How can you hate a thing that doesn't exist?" And, yet, here you are ONCE AGAIN discussing God and Jesus Christ, spewing your regular vitriol, insulting Christians about a thing that, according you, doesn't exist.

PS: I'm sure you're all over Bigfoot sites/forums repeatedly telling them that Bigfoot is a thing doesn't exist.

He appears to be saying he loathes the CONCEPT of the OT God.

I understand 3GS loathes the idea (or concept) of submitting to a God. That is not what he has stated.

I'd love to make fun of Bigfoot devotees. Can you link those sites for me?

How would I submit to something that doesn't exist? What a bizarre statement. The god of the Bible makes no sense. It's an evil petulant silly creature that seems to have no moral foundation at all aside from it wants it's ass kissed constantly.

He pretty clearly states above he loathes god of the Bible and the delusional concept Christians see as a god.

I was actually rereading the OT up through Judges the other day. The OT God strikes me personally as unjust and immature and jealous and evil in many instances.

I was thinking about how rarely our preachers would preach on the OT. We had the usual Sunday School lessons about the stories, but the actual actions and statements attributed to God are remarkable to me, not in a good way at all.

Anyway, obviously anyone here is free to express their opinions on the topic even without believing in the substance of a god.

The warnings were to Christians to be aware.

So also, when you see all these things, you know that He is near, right at the door.

You don't repeatedly interject your vitriol into Bigfoot conversations?

I would if there were any Bigfoot conversations. I generally poo poo and scoff at any silliness whether it be religion, "alternative" medicine, astrology, or whatever other goofy crap people believe. Start a Loch Ness monster thread and I'll interject all the vitriol you want.

Your complete lack of respect is the "tell" of your hatred for Christianity... you simply cannot stay away. Your obsession with Christians is noted.

I am curious what would you count as credible, tangible, and real evidence for God?
