Now We have something Else To Worry About..

I'd highly recommending focusing on the clear evidence for your version of God if you proselytize at all.

My guess it would be a better approach than the usual.

Those who look for real evidence of God usually are told it's about Faith, not evidence.

There is evidence, but unbelievers typically dismiss it as poppycock, rubbish, tomfoolery, etc.
The Bible, God's Word, says we are saved by our faith.  Read Hebrews 11...
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen OR
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

Uh, OK. I see a Unicorn.

And the disrespectful, vitriolic mockery aimed at Christianity continues...

Are you saying you look at the world around you and you don't see a unicorn? I'm sure there's a book about unicorns or something you can consult.
Or maybe you've never seen Legend.

If there is tangible evidence for God, is there evidence for the Christian God or some other god?

If the evidence is really so compelling, I'd think most rational humans would be swayed by it.  Many are not, obviously, many accept a god  of another type, like Allah.

Lucifer on the other hand ....

Spoken like a true disbeliever... slapping a loaded broad brush, dripping with paint, to describe all Christians as irrational humans. What do you want to say about Lucifer? Spit it out. Stop being a woman and waterboarding the ZNH with your passive aggressive tendencies, wordiness, and hoping we'll become mind-readers and figure it out.

A rhinoceros is an ugly version of the unicorn.

They may have been with Noah. I think I prefer folks who say I need to have Faith to those who claim there is a ton of evidence for God but won't tell us what it is.

No, haven't seen that one. Do you feel better from the mockery?

Are Christians somehow supposed to be sacrosanct and not subject to mockery and vitriol?

There is evidence. A ton in fact. You just choose to ignore it. With that, I can't help you. You should go on your merry way, blissful in the knowledge that Christians are irrational fools who are being bamboozled or whatever you choose to think about us.

There you go again... advertising your ignorance about The Bible.

So, I'm somehow supposed to be impressed with all this abundant and clear evidence about which we can't provide even one example? And somehow what 3GS posted is considered to be vitriolic mockery?

Suffice it to say this is a rather lame effort to convince anyone of the existence of God using rational means and objective evidence.

3GS is noting that "we" could believe in unicorns just as easily based on such "evidence".

At least there is a rhinoceros.

In what way?  You seem to think you should not be subject to vitriol and mockery around here as if you are special.

And I never claimed to have any unusual or deep knowledge of the Bible.  I have read it, a long while back.  It made no sense to me.  And explanations of weird stuff make no sense to me either.  If stating that is vitriolic mockery, so be it.

I don't take umbrage at being called ignorant either.

No, you are not somehow supposed to be impressed with the evidence. You have made it clear you aren't impressed.

I don't even know what the evidence might comprise, and no one seems able to point to any of it around here.

Why do you argue this Cincy? It's obvious you are(or find yourself to be) too logical and rational and intelligent to believe in God. Why do you pick at those that do? If not to mock those of us that do in your passive aggressive manner? At least 3GS does it openly.....

To the point at hand.......I have no ability to convince you that there is a God. That is not my role or place to do so.
