Depends on how it’s being defined.
There are times with our medical ability that we keep people alive rather than helping them live. No longer GroupThink 'woke', but it was fun while it lasted.

Going through months of agony and 2 surgeries I wondered if I’d get over the problems. Stuck in the house with no life I went through depression and wanted to die. I can understand all of it. Your life can change quickly from great to being trapped inside of yourself. Now I examine it all I feel grateful for my spouse and her encouragement to not get down. I’m embarrassed to compare my issues with Steve mcmichael and ALS. He is doomed sadly in mid 60s. Very sorry for him. I was able to surgically get repaired and am driving, out walking, ready for PT and full recovery. He faces death with no hope. Terrible way to end it but euthanasia in my opinion would be better than his state now. God bless him.

I do but I don't think my dog was a fan.

I am concerned about the slippery slope on this one, so at this point, I would have to say no.

Hell yes! If there is literally no hope, death should be an option if you choose it. It's an option in several states now and will probably eventually pass in others like cannabis sales (and no, I don't equate the two as the same). I will not live long enough to make my wife or children feed me or clean me up. I think it's called death with dignity. The dignity part is important.

Im ok with it, but probably only with certain medical diagnosis. Not just "IM depressed and want help dying" kind of thing.
A bit of hyperbole there, but hope you get the gist. But my wife is a nurse and feels terrible for the people that we keep alive with machines and morphine for no real reason.

If you have no quality of life left, it should be your choice. What do the pro choice people say? My body, my choice.
DANGEROUS WHEN PROVOKED

Count me among those that believes you should have control of your own life. Those that are concerned about people NOT in control… provisions for them should be made so they don’t decide??? We should have a convo

Yes. I would have euthanized my mother near the end.
Anti-individualistic, the Fascist conception of life stresses the importance of the State and accepts the individual only in so far as his interests coincide with those of the State...

There is also the point that end of life care can be REALLY expensive
Know this is a major concern. That people will be killed to save money. People die whether or not you save money

Absolutely, and I'd expand what illnesses can qualify.
