Does IU play Penn State this year?
I do no think so. The last games generally are rivalry games…Purdue v indiana

Yeah I was kind of hoping against hope there. Weird that a team missing IU is catching a break. PSU fortunate. IU, of course, as well.
I'm kind of expecting a similar start for IU that NW had on us due to the extra week to prepare.
I could see anything from a tight IU win to an OSU beat down on them.
Regarding Howard. Perception and reality often don't jibe. His only weakness appears to be on the deep ball, but the stats say he completes a fair amount of them so I guess fans are just being typical nitpicky fans.

PSU and B1G with Indiana, OSU may be lot better than we all think.
This makes the playoffs exciting

I'm starting to think so. I think why it looks like there aren't any dominant teams, like we've had in the recent past, is partly due to the portal and, IMO, the shorter games via the rolling clock. Typically understood that the more chances given to a more talented team that over time they will prevail. Hence a 7 game series in the WS.
I wonder how many fewer plays games have been on average since 2022? I would guess somewhere around 5 to 10.

We see it all the time. Most recent bowls. TN beat IA, Ole Miss beat PSU, Mizzou beat tOSU, and LSU beat WI. It's like a Trump sweep in the rust belt battleground states.
TN, UGA, Bama, and Ole Miss would destroy Indiana and PSU. Home or away. I'm hoping they play one another. Easy money and fun reading the excuses on here. It happens every season.
Note: Brown stays healthy or McCord does not bolt tOSU wins easily.

Doesn't happen every season. Only 3 entities have won titles in the playoff era: SEC, B1G and Clemson. Of course the B1G just bookended the playoff era with UM's win last year.

Indiana and PSU are fools gold. Indiana's schedule is a joke, so is PSU's. PSU and Indiana will both have 1 loss and it will be to the only good team they played.

From what little I’ve seen of those teams so far, I would say IU is the better of the two. Now would I bet on IU vs Bama or Georgia? That’s classified.

While I agree with that, the SEC is also garbage this year. Bama is the only real threat I think. Oregon and OSU are the 2 best teams in the country.

OSU is pretty much the only good team Indiana will face this entire season.
They only have four road games this year. The toughest is obviously at OSU. To now, their toughest road game has been either UCLA or Sparty. Mediocre Washington has been their toughest home game. Their OOC schedule was a murderer's row of FIU, Western Illinois and Charlotte. A complete joke.
OSU is their Super Bowl.

Well word is out through many sources, starting Center Seth MCloughlin is out the rest of the year with a torn achilles at practice today.
He anchored our line, Transfers Howard and Downs got the press and well deserved but MCCloughlin was a great get.
Will they flip Hinzman back to Center and go with Sevarise at left guard? Keep Hinsman and left guard and go with Padilla at C?

Good grief. Beyond the injury itself, on an individual front, we are in the playoff hunt with a friggin makeshift OLine. This is not a recipe for success.
Horrible news on multiple fronts. I was gonna say, could it get any worse? I’ll hold my tongue from here on out.
