Bama is at the mercy of how Milroe plays. Will it be the one that beat UGA or lost to Vandy?

Just watch the tape from last year's Rose Bowl. Or Vandy, or OU this year. 

BAMA should not be in the playoffs. They were destroyed by OU and lost to the SEC's historically worst team.

Ole Miss has an equal or better case to be in over Bama.

I'm not sure in the age of a 12 team playoff that 3 losses is a disqualifier, especially when the 3 loss team plays in the clear strongest conference in the nation.

And that the season is like we have this year. No FSU, No USC, No OU, If Bama or anyone else was going to lose 3 games this was the season to do it.

There will be a cry for a 16 team playoff sooner than later.

I don't think three losses is a disqualifier. But Alabama had two pretty bad losses to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma. That tends to get overlooked when it's Alabama. This will be the third benefit of the doubt they have gotten in the last seven years or so. They got one last year, and they got one when Ohio State And Bama were both vying for that fourth position several years ago.  But because Ohio State had a bad loss (cant remember if it was to Purdue or Iowa) that Ohio state got  doomed. Having the two bad losses certainly hasn't hurt the Golden Child this year. I think an argument could be made for South Carolina or Mississippi.

Was going to post that I wasn't gonna watch any of our playoff games unless we made it to the title game and then I would watch.  But I knew that was just a drama queen response to last weekend and I'd be lying to myself and the board.  So, yeah, I've had my personal football fan version of a tantrum and have now moved on.  We're in.    

Now looking at these playoffs soberly, I expect RD to just cut loose like he did against Georgia a couple of years ago.  We're as talented as anyone (minus O line)  and could easily go on a run.  We could also easily pack it in and get punk'd at home.  I guess we'll see.  

I'm just surprised we're projected to host a game.  Figured the media machine would have us on the road into SEC country.
