It was the play calling, but still…. You give me those facts ahead of time and I assume we cruise to a double digit win.
Oregon beat them by the amount of the spread that OSU was supposed to beat them by. Of course if the Ducks had followed the OSU game plan, I'm sure that game would have been much closer.

They seemed to not have done the game plan work on offense. Give us a healthy O line maybe Howard can stand in there and pass it from a pocket, and the RBs can gain. Perfect storm to blow it.

11-1 this year and his biggest wins are Louisville by 7 points (after the Cards made several key turnovers) at home and at Texas A&M. He lost to Northern Illinois at home. Good record this year but still no big career wins. His season will be determined by what ND does in the playoffs.
Freeman's ND teams lost to Marshall, NIU, and a 3-9 Stanford.
ND has the worst loss NIU and worst win aTm of all the playoff teams.

The continuous dive plays straight into the line put Howard in bad spots/3rd and longs all afternoon.
You can really sum up the outcome to this: minus the missed FGs, the difference was UM's qb threw a pick going INTO the endzone, and Howard threw his coming OUT of the endzone. Ugly field position game that we allowed ourselves to get sucked into. Reminded me of the 2015 loss to Sparty. But at least there the weather was terrible. This wasn't near the "monsoon" that game was played in. Cold with some wind, but nothing too crazy. You have to go aggressively win these games. You can't play it safe like that especially when it was clearly NOT working. It would be one thing if our backs were busting big chunks all game, but they weren't.

Does this also mean that UM gets back Colston Loveland, Will Johnson and Donovan Edwards? You know, the 3 best players on UM’s team.

Bama is at the mercy of how Milroe plays. Will it be the one that beat UGA or lost to Vandy?

I like that 3 of the 4 games are warm weather teams (TN is borderline) playing in cold weather. I hope for snow. Especially for Alabama and ASU.
I would not be surprised to see OSU and TN flipped because of eSECpn. Obviously that would suck for you guys.

Just watch the tape from last year's Rose Bowl. Or Vandy, or OU this year.
BAMA should not be in the playoffs. They were destroyed by OU and lost to the SEC's historically worst team.

Ole Miss has an equal or better case to be in over Bama.
Ole Miss
beat SC by 24
beat OU by 12
beat UGA by 18
lost to LSU by 3
Bama
beat SC by 2
lost to OU by 21
beat UGA by 7
beat LSU by 29

I think the killer for Ole Miss was losing to UK.

Everyone's hating on Bama for getting back in the mix. But those same people would probably poop their pants if their team was matched up with them in the first round. They are one of the top 12 teams in the country, period.
