Reading as much as I can about this incident back in 2020 it was during the riots but not done anywhere near where the riots were. He ordered the national guard in and already had Covid restrictions in place and issued an additional curfew for the riots. Why he sent troops into residential neighborhoods where there was no rioting to shoot people on their porch is a big question. But he is the man who gave the order to send them in and his emergency Covid powers gave him this authority.

So Walz’s implication is that rural people are idiots who can’t aspire to greater things? This should go over well with rural voters.

Unfortunately the rural voters have been cast aside already by the Dems

I know a bunch of rednecks who would go to an ivy leagues school if they could. Why would walz or the dems denigrate antone from doing so?

He can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

Tim Walz’s 2006 campaign falsely described details about his arrest for drunk driving in 1995

When Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz first ran for Congress in 2006, his campaign repeatedly made false statements about the details of his 1995 arrest for drunk and reckless driving.

According to court and police records connected to the incident, Walz admitted in court that he had been drinking when he was pulled over for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone in Nebraska. Walz was then transported by a state trooper to a local hospital for a blood test, showing he had a blood alcohol level of .128, well above the state’s legal limit of 0.1 at the time.

But in 2006, his campaign repeatedly told the press that he had not been drinking that night, claiming that his failed field sobriety test was due to a misunderstanding related to hearing loss from his time in the National Guard. The campaign also claimed that Walz was allowed to drive himself to jail that night.

None of that was true.

A CNN KFile review of statements made by the Walz campaign at the time reveals numerous discrepancies between how the campaign described the events and the facts of what actually took place that night.

Does this guy ever tell the truth?

I didn’t give any credence to them yesterday, but there were a few X posts that noted they “heard” Walz gets replaced on the ballot before the convention starts.

Another example of the Dems “Saving Democracy.”

Some things I almost never hear mentioned is that JD graduated summa *** laude from OSU in 2 years. Not to mention he was a marine after HS and before going to OSU.

I’d surmise he also did great on the LSAT. He was from a poor dysfunctional family. He then went to Yale.

That’s how he got into Yale and then was an editor for the Yale Law Journal.

That’s working your ass off and making something out of nothing. Rags to riches.

Now go find another pic of him wearing a funny costume on Halloween, Dems. That will work well for you.

Vance is 10 times the man that walz is. Trump us 10 times the person that kamala is.

What does that mean, with our electorate? Probably not much, because so many voters are morons.

I've been thinking ever since the "stolen valor" issue came to light that this was a possibility.  This mutt is deeply flawed in so many areas.

Agreed. The cake batter is set, now we get to watch the next 90 days to see what happens.

If I had to bet on it, I think that kamala wins, because I have 0 faith in our elections anymore.
