And to the extent that they favor them over a group that has supported their aims as much or more than any other is even more baffling. They truly are nuts. Shapiro is a far better choice than Walz. Yet the liberals now have a faction of their party that is virulently antisemitic that they actually fear.

It's because Muslims vote for welfare and entitlement programs. So basically they don't have to actually do anything besides spend taxpayer money yo earn their vote.

He definitely expanded the government in a number of areas. He offered free health care to pregnant mothers, greatly expanded school breakfast and lunch programs, etc. Nothing he did was socialist.

I'm amazed people can't feed their own kids too.   I go in these places to eat and they have to close early because they can't find workers.   HELP WANTED SIGNS are up everywhere.  People don't want to work.  This is why immigrants legal and illegal are brought in and put to work.

They won't work because the govt hands them everything.

Housing, food, phone, internet, medical, etc... cut off welfare and we'll see 20 million people begging for a job.

There's a possibility he wears eyeliner.

He believes that children should get votes in elections, but the parents should be the ones who cast them. Meaning, if he and his wife have two kids, they would each get to votes. 

He doesn't believe abortion is okay in cases of incest or rape. Even the most anti-abortion people often make exceptions for those situations.

I think it's fairly odd that he called Trump America's Hitler and is now his running mate.

Vice President Kamala Harris, now the Democratic nominee for president, introduced her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, for the first time at a rally in Philadelphia on Aug. 6. We found some misleading claims and assertions that required context in their remarks, which featured more hopeful pronouncements than pointed attacks on the Republican ticket.

Walz made the unsupported claim that Trump will “gut Social Security and Medicare.” Trump has not released any detailed proposals to cut either program. In fact, he has promised to protect both.

Walz correctly said that “violent crime was up under Donald Trump.” The violent crime increase was due to a spike in murders and aggravated assaults in 2020.
