I could not find the thread where he has been stating it but there are some more trends moving away from woke and company.

Of course I debated Zig over this but have to give him props.  Although not in the US JK Rowling who we know has been fighting the fight has stepped it up by daring police to arrest her for her anti trans comments.

Also Shakira told a story of how her sons did not like the Barbie Movie because they felt emasculated.    She actually explained things well when she said " My sons will grow up to be men and I want them to respect women"  Now you may not think that is a big deal but in the entertainment world that is huge.  We will see if it cost her anything like gigs closed dropped endorsements etc.  It is almost like someone is asking is it ok to be a male yet?

This has been a big issue in the election polling as men feel left out and specially black males.

It's easy to say the dems are all powerful and will conquer with really idiotic ideas of what we see today.    AT SOME POINT normal people stand up and say enough is enough.   No one wants chaos and anarchy and fear and crime.   Look at what is going on now in Washington State undoing drug legalization; look at Wisconsin and Tony Evers veto of proposed law to block men from competing in female sports.   Look at backlash at open borders.  Look at what happened to Disney...look at Bud light mess and Target.   Look at the Easter Sunday Biden tranny visibility declaration.

Zig has been pushing the idea is that woke-ism is not as ingrained within American culture as it appears. I’ll admit I’m am somewhere in the middle between Zig and the nihilists on the board. I posted the Go Woke Go Broke Redux and the Winning the Culture War threads to try to recognize victories in this battle. Ala posted the Narrative Not Holding Up on BLM thread as well.

We should acknowledge both the threats and the victories to have a full view. Globally too. The story of JK Rowling standing up, and winning, to the extremely harsh new Scottish anti-free speech law is a great example.

Woke is part of a small segment of our nation.  How many dems have left the party?  Look at RFK jr!  DEVOUT dem whose dad and uncles democrats to the core.  When a party incorporates the squad, ideas of crime and brutality against our citizens by illegals, stealing/corruption as a president and son from other nations as a sell out, it resonates, it radiates, it reverberates.

It's easy to go with media narrative.   It's not so easy to see the forest just behind the trees.

Trump flattening all in the primaries point to a different narrative.   Parents are challenging woke school boards, states are passing anti woke laws, people are flat out not buying woke agenda at the box office or in the retail line.

They've lost lot of voters.   Republicans don't control more state governments with dem expansion.  Same can be said of congress.   IF dems are all powerful they'd rule the house and senate in next election.   That may happen but right now it APPEARS to show loss of senate and we'll see how the house goes.  

Florida is good example.   DeSantis barely won the first election over an imbecile.  NOW?   That is a very red state despite the narrative that all those NJ and NY voters moving south would change things.

Riley Gaines is great. She's 100% right, but I disagree that wokeism has declined...it's just slowly seeped into modern culture to a point that what Riley Gaines has to make is even a real, rational debate in this country. It's clearly not.

The normalization of mental illness we've allowed in this country is directly related to wokeism. It is a product of it.

Black men are moving to Trump in droves, and one of the big reasons for it is that they are sick of getting bossed around by Amazonian single black women and seeing any black man with media visibility having to act ( or be ) gay to get a national voice.
Also, when Trump claims that black men like him b/c they can relate to his persecution/mug shot, he isn’t wrong.

Riley Gaines is great.  She's 100% right, but I disagree that wokeism has declined...it's just slowly seeped into modern culture to a point that what Riley Gaines has to make is even a real, rational debate in this country.  It's clearly not.

I didn’t say it declined, I said the trajectory downward has slowed. If Trump wins in November the downward path may hit its nadir and start a very long climb back upwards.

Let me clarify, Zig was right and the winds appear to be shifting.  Is there a long way to go?  Yes!   The examples I gave were 2 popular entertainers who are taking a stand. I feel this will open more doors.

Still a ways to go is the evil media.  RFK Jr. said Biden is the real threat to democracy.  He said this on CNN who loves the Kennedy's but realize RFK is in their way.  Erin Burnett asked "how is Biden more dangerous"/  RFK Jr. elaborated and included how Biden has csnored RFK and how Biden denied RFK secret service.  CNN did a quick fact check and concluded "Biden personally did not censor RFK nor did Biden personally deny RFK secret service!!!
