The "Biden Family Corruption" mega-thread
#31
There is far more smoke here than with "Russian collusion" and we had the buffoon Mueller and his merry band of clowns rooting around for how long on that snipe hunt? Do we need any more evidence the DOJ is completely corrupted? If this were any GOP POTUS the press would be in full howl and a special counsel would have been hard at it by last year some time.

I've noticed that when Biden is confronted with accusations of corruption he becomes visibly angry.  I think it's called a "tell".

Remember all of the "fact checkers" that "debunked"  the allegations against the Bidens?

Seems the MSM likes throwing the term "conspiracy theory" around almost as much as Pitch does.   Tongue

I actually heard an interesting theory yesterday from Clay Travis on why Joe got so sloppy and had Hunter involved in this game.  Travis said by 2014, when all this was kicking into gear with Hunter, Joe's mindset was that this was the sunset of his political career.  They were on the down slope of Obama's second term, and Ma was the heir apparent.  Joe wasn't gonna run.  Travis' theory was Joe thought he would "get his" on his way out the door like all the others have.  Probably thinking, no one is going to care about a washed up VP riding off into the sunset.

Back to my pea brain now.  Apparently the thought of being the Dem nominee and POTUS was too much for Joe to pump the brakes.  He (actually Dr Jill) probably counted on the fact that with it being his administration (DOJ under his thumb), the media in their back pocket and a subservient, lap dog GOP (Whooops) that it would never get to this point.

If you thought the Dems pulled out all the stops in 2020?  You aint seen nothing yet.  That said, if the unthinkable, a.k.a. justice, happened to Joe and some of his deep state buddies, this is the Fredo family.  I don't know what the Dem machine was thinking when they allowed his nomination.  These people will flip under the slightest sign of real heat.  My guess is if a GOP candidate wins in '24, while Joe will be too old and feeble to face justice, Hunter will probably "OD" or become so distraught he'll take his own life, be shot by a hooker, die in a car crash, etc...  Ahem.  So if nothing else, we will be slightly entertained.  There probably won't be justice, but there will definitely be drama.

Politicians aren't dumb...ok, actually many of them are, but they generally know how to walk the line between legal and illegal as it relates to selling access. I suspect Joe worded things very carefully on any "business" calls he had related to Hunter to avoid crossing the line into being illegal.

Obama's "personal chef" died yesterday in an accident on Martha's Vineyard. He and his wife had decent jobs over the years but not "personal chef" decent. Not even close. These guys seem to do much better than most in their income brackets.

Obama had a couple book deals worth a ton of money. Here is just one of them:

With a decent investment strategy, he's probably worth well over $100M right now.

You should probably be a little more specific, as I would assume there is some video of this on his laptop  Angel

Travis simply opined that Joe got sloppy for the reasons I cited.  By 2014 it certainly wasn't Joe's first rodeo.  Letting Hunter, with his sketchy history, in on the game was a major gamble.
