I addressed this in another thread, citing it as thee reason this guy doesn't have a prayer. Americans may answer polls one way, but when it comes down to it? No chance in hell will we see that spectacle in the White House. No way.
He was re-elected by an 80% margin. HT is correct when he mentions it's not the 1980's politics anymore.
Thatâ€s why I call this place South Bendover
I heard it called South End, too.
I had tickets to the OSU vs ND game but IÂ gave them to a friend for $2. I had no interest in going back to that stadium. I hate ND as must as I hate TUN. Almost more.

I forget the year but it was the OSU @ND game. I had tickets and simply was not going to fly home from Turkey to watch the game in South Bend. If it was in Columbus yup.

Maybe Buttigieg is the catcher. Would that make him the first female president?

Maybe he is a switch hitter. What does that make him?

Small city mayor and the WH are two different things. Let me be clear here, it wouldn't just be "white haired misogynists" voting against that, it would be women too.  When women see the WH they see strong leadership supported by a classy lady in a pink dress and pill box hat.  There is no chance in hell that even Dem soccer moms would vote for that insane abomination in the WH.  Again, polls are one thing.  But when the rubber (pun intended) meets the road?  Whole other story

Yep that would†ve been 1996. We played them in the shoe in 95. I remember when they scheduled the home and home back in 1984. I was in Indianapolis in residency. A few months later I took the job in South Bend thinking I would never still be here when they played since it was over 10 years away. Surprise! God is cruel sometimes

The single women and those with children without the father in the picture already vote Dem. All it will take to get some of the other women will be to promise protecting their kids or offering them something like daycare.

Maybe I'm wildly wrong, but I don't see that whole scene going over well with women at all. Â Women say lots of things to be acceptable to their group. Â But when it gets down to it this is almost akin to transgender men beating girls in women's sports. Â In their mind the FLOTUS is a classy looking woman, not some chaps wearing fruit loop. Â
MID, women will kill off this candidacy long before it ever has a chance of gaining any serious momentum
