All I know is I see pictures of this guy in what appears to be a mental/depression ward, thanks to CB's description.  That's all I know.  That's all you know.

Some video with sound would do wonders.  Assuming he's ok of course.  That would put a lot of tin foil hats away.

I don't think it was at all tin foil to question him being up for the job.  He'd just had a stroke and was unable process information he heard in conversations.  I also don't think his avoidance of a debate was tin foil.  It seemed pretty obvious that he was avoiding.

The question is why, without any real basis, people jump to conspiracy theories.
I know like when Obama said if you don't vote for Fetterman democracy will end.

Unfortunately, that is Campaigning Strategy 101 these days. It became prominent when Hannity and Rush claimed the same thing when Obama was running in '07..... And then again in '11.

And...  they were right.  Ainâ€t fundamental transformation grand?  Dan Bongino (I guess heâ€s a scare monger too) said we donâ€t have to worry about an emerging police state; we already have it.  Then he proceeded to tick off one element of another of a police state.  Iâ€ll have to see if I can find the elements he mentioned later.  Free speech attacked, spying, using the legal system to go after and/or jailing the opposition...  for starters.

I'm sure Republicans could look back and point out a way that every Democrat president had fundamentally changed the country and vice versa, especially with Trump.  I'm just saying that these claims are the norm, but rarely true in any meaningful way.

The claims are true in a meaningful way.  Look at what the Obama presidency wrought on this nation.  Look at what his 3rd term is doing now.  Look at the societal upheaval.  Look at the bastardization of the legal system and constitutional norms.

You're right in that both sides make the claims, but only one side can back it up with reality.  And no, Obama is not solely to blame for our free fall away from the constitution (Patriot Act anyone?).  We're just picking up speed now.

I highly disagree.  Democrats can point out a list of ways that Trump and his presidency have fundamentally changed the country in a negative way.  What R's claim about Obama would be highly disputed by D's.  What D's claim about Trump would be highly disputed by R's.... and both sides would be stridently certain that they were right and the other side was wrong.  Smile

If you want, bring me some stuff/claims over from one of the lib sites.  Would love to hear how Trump was a fascist so I can do some comparing and contrasting.

Apparently he's no more brain dead than your typical politician.

John Fetterman to chair his first subcommittee hearing

U.S. Sen. John Fetterman said in a tweet Wednesday that he will be chairing his first subcommittee hearing next week.

The Pa. Democrat will chair the hearing titled “SNAP and Other Nutrition Assistance in the Farm Bill” at 3:30 p.m. April 19 with Sen. Mike Braun, an Indiana Republican.

SNAP is an acronym for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of needy families.

The subcommittee on Food and Nutrition, Specialty Crops, Organics, and Research will hold the hearing.

Fetterman was released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on March 31 after being hospitalized in mid-February for major depression. His doctors say that illness is now in remission.

He has been home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, recuperating since then while anticipating a return to D.C. when the Senate session resumes Monday.

Also, read a headline last night that Diane Feinstein may not be back in the senate due to her condition. Feinstein had to go back or the Dems donâ€t have a majority

No longer GroupThink 'woke', but it was fun while it lasted.

I heard they want to “temporarily replace” her... whatever that means to them in her case.

I donâ€t think you “temporarily replace” an 89 year old and Iâ€d be surprised if thatâ€s even within the rules of the senate or that they could find some loophole.

Imagine working at 89 when you have the fortune she has from screwing over the American people. SMH.

That he's not brain dead?  I'm no expert in neurology,  but I don't believe brain dead guys can chair hearings.

Add McConnell to the list. Rumor has it he's giving up his leadership role and possibly even his seat.
The America, and the American Military, that you once knew is gone.
