Is John Fetterman brain dead?

Walter Reed is a full service General Hospital. They provide mental health services. That may not be the reason he is there, but the service line is there.

Walter Reed is a leading center for mental health and itâ€s easy to figure out why. They even have a psychiatry residency program.

I believe Pennsylvania doesnâ€t require a special election. So Iâ€m not sure about this 8/18 thing. Pennsylvania is one of the few states that donâ€t have a special election 

If he is brain dead, thatâ€s a hard thing to justify until August.

I don't know exactly how this will work. PA people will be voting in an odd/off year? I thought Josh Shapiro would appoint someone temporarily and then you have a vote in 2024.

My first thought when I saw the title of this thread was how sad.  I'm certainly no fan of Fetterman, but if there is any truth to this at all, I have sympathy for him.  He was used by the party, with no regard for his health.  Even his wife didn't seem to care.  She's as bad as Jill Biden.

The people of Pennsylvania who voted for a mentally disabled man deserve what they get. No pity for them, and Fetterman had to know that he wasnâ€t able to do the job but wanted the power. I certainly wouldnâ€t wish that on anyone but heâ€s not innocent.

Totally agree. Now we know why the Democrats kept him quiet and only one debate. OZ was not the greatest but he was leaps and bounds above Fetterman.

Iâ€m pretty sure what happens. I canâ€t find good sources, so I wonâ€t waste data posting them. But Iâ€ve found multiple local sources. No special election. Governor appoints someone and new Senator finishes the term.
