This really looks to not only be a wake up call, but it's alleged to be very informative on how to deal with these situations.  These are every day Americans.  Not high profile people.  I have not watched this yet, but when I do it will be in bits and pieces as it is long, but it looks like something that all Americans, left, right and all points in between, should be aware of.

I would suggest focusing on what your local situation is, and if nothing is happening in your specific neck of the woods, stepping back from the angst ledge. If California going to burn, consider it karmic payback for stupid collective voting decisions that Western Ohio has not followed.

I just now watched the first 35 minutes.  The first case was chilling and it involved Amazon in bed with the feds framing a guy and essentially destroying him.  But he and his wife fought.  She said most lawyers will tell you to zip your lips.  She said we did just the opposite.  Her husband was never charged with a crime, but they seized their bank accounts and credit cards, etc...   The feds were making the case that the cash was somehow itself the criminal and that they had the right to seize it, etc, etc, etc...   This is bone chilling.  What happens in a lot of these civil asset forfeiture cases is the state hides behind the skirt of the feds because the state's power is limited.  So the feds come in and basically have this 80/20 set up where the property/cash gets laundered through the feds and the state gets 80% of it back.  

The time to put your head in the sand is over.  Two other cases coming up.  One involving a gun dealer and another involving a dad basically frozen out of his young son's life over transgender insanity.  

My early take here is that the machine will crush you.  They will slowly box you in until your choices are essentially eliminated and you will eventually cave in.  If you notice a lot of high profile cases the strategy is the same:  either scare people into submission or slow walk them to bankruptcy, etc...   

It's time to wake up and not go to sleep on this stuff as it seems this stuff is ramping up and up and up.  

If you get nothing else out of this at least get what you can do to defend yourself.  This is way beyond lazy claims of fear mongering.  This stuff is here.
