I encourage all to listen to this. It really puts it in perspective. 

I, of course, as is my wont, considered passing off this definition as my own, so that the plebeian masses that inhabit this board would see me as imparting "the Great Wisdom." And thereby, commanding the respect that I am notably due. But my inner voice, the redneck one, said no, ya dummass, y'all just git caught tryin' to slide one by these here bunch of hooligans.

Agree 100% with you. What is important about this definition is that is goes beyond “Marxism” or “socialism”, two not necessarily accurate catch alls bandied about for leftism. This kind of crap was put forward by Robespierre and Jacobins way before Marx was born and has been around ever since, with tweaks by Gramsci, Greta Thunberg, and many other utopian morons.
