This has nothing to do with playing a questions game.  Itâ€s a paid ad based on Bidenâ€s EO.  Even if you buy into the notion, no one thinks this would happen overnight.  

Anyway, is a digital dollar really that far fetched?  I would bet most of the population hardly uses cash as it is.  That said, Americans like their freedom and their privacy.  I canâ€t imagine this coming to fruition without all hell breaking loose

Globally yes, but advanced economies like the US and China will jump in sooner. countries like Paraguay and Congo will take the full ten years to get up to speed. If Twitter does turn into a super do-it-all app like WeChat, then that will push the envelope. We might see it in just a few years.

I think the govâ€t would certainly push it as much as possible but I believe the public pushback would be too great. That said, Swedenâ€s govâ€t has announced they intend to be fully digital by 2030.
