Yeah, I have a scar on my face from getting bit by a golden 20 or so years ago. I'm never been afraid of them though. Belgian Malinois would be one to be afraid of. Beautiful, but scary dogs.
I've been bitten many times by Malinois but each time I was wearing a sleeve or a suit.   Good times! I'm too old to do that anymore. You have to be in good shape to throw on a suit and "fight" a 60-90 pound dog that's trying to rip your arm out of its socket. But yea, great dogs!
Well, I didn't have a suit or anything like that on. Just board shorts and a t-shirt like you would expect in that part of Florida. I just wanted to pet the thing, it was growling are ready to attack. My friend got some funny collars after that like "don't fvicking touch me" and stuff like that. The Canucks are way funnier than people give them for.
A well-bred dog shouldn't react like that in a normal situation. Although I suppose some are purposely bred to be like that in order to be able to guard property without a handler present. A lot of working dogs who are willing to protect their handler may be indifferent when it comes to protecting property. That's how I prefer my dogs to be as I don't want them to be "attack" dogs. I had one of those once and it was a PAIN IN THE ASS.
She might have been training the dog to be an attack dog. Her sister is a cop up there. I haven't talked to her in a few years. But all she ever posted on FB, snap and the rest are dog pics/videos.Â
OT: Some from back home in the north started calling her out for that. There is more to life than a damn dog lol.
