Luke Macfarlane revealed he had no inhibitions during his raunchy nude sex scenes with Billy Eichner. "Specifically we had an LGBT intimacy coordinator, so they were familiar with language that might be a little bit different. Billy and I felt really comfortable. We gave each other permission to go for it." He said there was only one thing he said no to: "There was a moment when Billy was like should we spit on each other? And I was like, 'Nope! Nope!' So that was something that I decided not to do."
Co-writer and star Billy Eichner has expressed that he does not want conservatives, especially those that voted for the 45th President of the United States and their associates, to see the film, even conservatives who identify as being part as the LGBTQ+ community as he views them as traitors.
Upon bombing at the box office opening weekend star Billie Eichner claimed homophobia was the reason for the movie failing.

Some people are asleep at the wheel. Sorry if I upset anybody, why don't you guys list a few subjects - with an acceptable list of talking points- so that the rest of us can follow the rules.
