I must be ready for college football.

I think a Bama/OSU title game is about as foregone a conclusion as you can have in CFB. It is them two, and everyone else this year. I think OSUâ€s revamped defense is going to make a statement next Saturday.

When it comes to Bball and football, I most certainly prefer it at the college level. Always have since I was a kid, and for the reasons you mention.

That ... is   ... awesome !!!

Enjoy it with your fellow Buckeye fans.

Nice thing about being a Buckeye fan, WE ARE EVERYWHERE, so you can always find an OSU bar to watch a game at.

Back in 2006 I was in Bogota Colombia and low and behold I see a guy walking around in an OSU t-shirt.

Traditionally the best high school football states are Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Florida.  Texas probably tops the list.  Y'all take it pretty seriously.   Cool

I think Florida has replaced Texas on that list.

Will be interested to see how Kelly does with all that athleticism at LSU.  He gets Alabama at Tiger Stadium in November.

Sheer talent wise it probably is Florida, but I'm talking the whole package here, not just talent.  The way the schools promote it, the fan enthusiasm, the whole 9 yards...  so to speak.  Hard to imagine anyone topping Texas for the overall package.

Yes they definitely have the best high school facilities and all.  It is still a big deal there.

For the last few years I haven't lived or worked near the places where most "damn furriners" are in Beijing, but I would occasionally see some Buckeye gear. Although one time, it was a 80+ year old Chinese villager guy in a green t-shirt that said Ohio State. I'm guessing he picked up that shirt in a local off-market shop for rejected clothes. But I still said to him, "Go Bucks!"    I think he thought I was crazy. Which, is probably true, but hey?

I know UM loses major talent, but they also have a pretty light schedule this year.  They could easily come into THE GAME very highly ranked.  All I know is that the Horseshoe will be rocking.  Been 4 years since we hosted!
