I do kind of wonder how this affects paintball tanks of CO2. I would presume most are using Nitrogen these days. Don't play or mess around with them now, but did when I was younger.

Of course all this started in 2021 because of shutdowns and then in 2022 a couple of "normal" type issues in the industry came up on top of the supply chain problems and now it is moving toward a possible crisis situation. A stupid government and country in action.

Those prog hate CO2 and the greening of the world so much they are even keeping it out of tanks. There is a new demand strain too with MJ legalization. Indoor factory farms use it too.

CO2 is also used as a medical gas.
At a national sustainability conference in 2010 or 2011, they decided to quit allowing carbonated drinks to be served. It felt like Prohibition as some of us went out for dinner and had beers and cokes secretly.
