Need our site Drs to answer this on sex and gender. Is there difference?
#16
The dictionary used to define gender as the sex of an individual, but I just checked and every dictionary has altered it to the left wing "social construct" nonsense.

The asteroid can't come soon enough.

Besides the chromosomes, biologically speaking, females have large sex cells and males have small sex cells.

Anti-individualistic, the Fascist conception of life stresses the importance of the State and accepts the individual only in so far as his interests coincide with those of the State...

Females have large sex cells (eggs) males have small sex cells (sperm).

Technically the egg and the sperm are each only a half of a cell, until they combine to make a full cell.

Interesting thought but not actually accurate. They are a type of cell. Not the same as a cell with a full complement of chromosomes but still a cell.

That's a weird way to look at the difference between men and woman and even the difference between eggs and sperm. If this were a family feud question it would go something like this:
Name a difference between men and women!
pitch: Women have larger sex cells
Response: X
But Steve Harvey would get a laugh out of it

Biology deals in/defines male and female mammals. That's not the same as man and woman.

That's how they taught it in health class, perhaps in simplistic terms a youngling can understand.

A cell has 46 chromosomes. A sperm and egg each have 23, and when they join together it makes 46, at which point it becomes a complete cell.

It's a pretty simple definition for men and women.  Not sure what you are driving at with your big/small gamete reference.

I wouldn't say I'm doing anything. I'm just stating facts. Biology does not define man and woman. Biology defines male and female mammals.

Only a disingenuous idiot takes something so simple and makes it into something so complicated.

Itâ€s funny. “Trust the science” is the quote thatâ€s all the rage. Yet biology has informed us about gender and male/female for many many many years. Till it magically changes….with no change in the science. Itâ€s kind of like the psychology change in definition of sexual deviance…..no new science understanding, just a magical change in definition.

Itâ€s the “emperor has no clothes” fable in real life. And people applaud. I honestly never thought  Iâ€d see the day.

No longer GroupThink 'woke'.  but it was fun while it lasted.
