Anyone see the final round of the Open? It was a great one; all set up for Rory McIlroy to get his 5th major or Victor Hovland of Norway to get his 1st. They started the day 4 shots up but Cameron Smith from Australia shot an amazing 64 to win it.

I watched the whole thing. They Cameron twins surprised me at how low they went. And Cameron Young won't sleep well tonight. He left too many strokes out there.
But a great Sunday overall, better than most at The Open.

Cam Smith is made of ice.  His par on 17 will be remembered in the annuls of The Open lore.  Cam Young's eagle on 18 got him on the A list for Rookie of the Year.  They will both be huge stars on tour.  Not so sure about Rory at this point.  That defeat is going to sting for a long time.  He had it and lost it.  Missed a lot of putts.

Yeah, two putting every green  won't do it. But a lot of those putts were damn good putts. Poor Rory just couldn't get any to fall.
Cameron Smith is the real deal. He putts like he's got ice water in his veins. The moment is simply not too big for that guy, mullet and all.

It was great to watch.  I don't like Rory at all, so I was very pleased he did not win. Cam Smith was on fire today.  Great win for him.
