Albinos are actually very common in Tanzania-about 250-300k in the country. That said, they have a horrible time of it b/c A-being albino in the African sun is physically dangerous and creates severe health/skin issues, and B-they are discriminated against AND witchdoctors will kill them for their bones and hair to use in black magic charms and potions!
I saw a 20/20 documentary about a Canadian charity called Under the Same Sun that works specifically with albinos in Tanzania/East Africa.

Wait until you see a black albino, that's going to blow your mind. I†ve certainly seen pics of albinos, and I†ve quickly seen a couple while walking on the street but I wasn†t sure if the people were true albinos or it was a fashion statement of some kind. When you only see a face and hair, you can†t be sure. The lady I saw had white hair, face, hands and legs, so I was certain. Her lips too were nearly devoid of color.Â
I was in the nerds clique in HS, so yeah, I can appreciate to some small degree, the sense of separation from what seemed the popular crowd. We had a couple of Jehovah Witnesses in my class. They always ate alone.

I was at work and my wife called and said she would meet me for lunch at the adjacent mall and to meet her at the restaurant. So, I walk over to the mall and about three steps ahead of me is an extremely attractive woman in about the shortest dress I've ever seen. And she goes to get on the escalator ahead of me. As I'm about to step onto the escalator I realized that if I looked forward I would have a unobstructed view up the woman's dress. Immediately thought, nope, no can do. So I stopped fast to step away from the escalator at just the point two older ladies were about to get onto the escalator behind me and ended up running into me. They were not happy as one about fell. I apologized (bu hao yi si) and just stood to the side and gave the young hot chick time to get off the escalator before I ascended. I know me, I've been me for a long time and I just know I would have been tempted.
So, about a minute later I do go up the escalator. And as I step off the escalator, what should appear to my wandering eyes, but a young albino Chinese woman. I don't think I've ever seen a pure albino before. Wow, her skin was pure white, as was her hair. It was like seeing a living ghost. Rather surreal. But has to be a challenge to go through life like that. So in a span of three minutes I had to avert my eyes a second time. Despite the temptation, it's not polite to stare.
So you completely blew an opportunity for a threesome with the mini skirt girl and the albino Asian chick?
That must suck.
He didn't tell you the rest of the story. He banged the two old ladies. So he gets at least 5 out of 10 stars. Always take the victory you can.

If using the word cruditÃs means youâ€re disconnected from Main Street America, then, Main Street America needs to put down their Keystone Light and get a little culture.

There was a possible black albino at my middle school. I just thought that she had some unfortunate condition where she looked black even though she wasn't. But then I saw her parents. Her dad was a light skinned black guy and her mom was White. So I'm not sure if she was an albino or if she just had all the color bred out of her lineage. But she had bright blonde hair and was pale as Hell. She was actually kinda hot, I dunno.

That†s fine and dandy. I do as well unless I add fruit, meat and cheese. Then it†s a charcuterie. But when I hear crudità s, I know what they†re talking about and don†t think there is a disconnect. I just think they†re being a little fancy.
I can†t imagine if he would have said mise en place.

That plan backfired...
Trader Joeâ€s Workers Decided To Unionize. The Company Abruptly Closed Their Store.
Workers say they were just days from going public with their union campaign when the company shuttered the Union Square wine shop.
Workers at the Trader Joe†s Wine Shop in Manhattan spent the last four months laying the groundwork to unionize their store. A small organizing committee met regularly to discuss strategy around building support to join the United Food and Commercial Workers union, and they planned to go public with their effort the week of Aug. 15.
But in the early morning hours of Aug. 11, Trader Joe†s abruptly informed them it was closing the popular wine shop, its only one in New York City.
Robert “Rab†Bradlea, a worker at the store and member of the committee, was blindsided when he woke up to texts about the closure last Thursday. Like three other workers from the store interviewed by HuffPost, Bradlea said he sees only one logical reason for it.
“They†re hoping this dissuades other workers from doing the same thing we†ve done,†the five-year Trader Joe†s veteran said.
Bradlea said conversations with coworkers had led the committee to believe there were at least 22 “yes†votes among the 30 or so workers they expected would be eligible to unionize. They planned to have supporters sign union cards this week and quickly submit them to the National Labor Relations Board by Friday to petition for an election.
