Yeah. The weight gain is a bear, and getting it off takes twice as long, but itâ€s like it slides my energy level down to “slug” level.

Same thing goes for regular eating in excess. Went to a hole in the wall burger wings place for my sons bd last week. Guy at the next table orders the “jumbo heart attack burger” or whatever it was called. 4 8oz patties on a bun with sides….

Now that we are a month into summer…..with two to go before thereâ€s a hint of cooling down….itâ€s been a hot one so far, with high humidity. Worse than the last several summers tbh.

With the Atlantic cradle of hurricane generation quiet so far, it doesnâ€t look like thereâ€s an end in site either. Usually those spawned storms bring some periodic relief to the heat

And sight too.

Used to be the guy with the hollow leg.  No longer.  Metabolism has slowed waaaaay down.  I get full much more easily now, and I stay full for much longer.

No way I could do that now. Not a chance. Iâ€d be cutting into 2 or 3 pieces to save for lunch and dinner the next day. Although, if itâ€s an excellent pizza, I can still munch down a lot. 

The MIL every single meal puts together twice as much as I can eat. And every meal I say, “Tai Duo Le,” (too much) and leave food on the table. You would think after a couple a years she would figure it out.

Which means for the 75 minutes itâ€s now been on, at least one woman character has been screaming and/or crying for 60 minutes. There are apparently thousands of these movies and itâ€s always the same plot. The couple always gets back together in the last two minutes of the film. Always.

No Christmas, but it is the same plot as Hallmark. Maybe they are getting back together for the anniversary of the CCP. That seems romantic.

When I get full, the food stops tasting good. Apparently that is some sort of natural defense mechanism against over eating, but most people don't have it. So I am on of the lucky ones, I guess.
