Mr Trumpâ€s campaign sent millions of fundraising emails to supporters encouraging them to donate to help fight voter fraud between election day and January 6, the committee said. Many of those emails asked supporters to donate to an “election defense fund” for legal cases related to the election.

However, an investigator for the committee said that fund did not exist, and most of that money went Mr Trumpâ€s ‘Save America†political action committee, not to election-related litigation.


The evidence highlights how the Trump campaign pushed false election claims to fundraise, telling supporters it would be used to fight voter fraud that did not exist,” said Amanda Wick, senior investigative counsel for the House committee.

“The Trump campaign knew these claims of voter fraud were false yet they continued to barrage small-dollar donors with emails encouraging them to donate to something called the ‘Official Election Defense fund.†The select committee discovered no such fund existed,” she added.

House committee member Zoe Lofgren, a Democratic congresswoman from California, said President Trump “used the lies he told to raise millions of dollars from the American people.”

We all knew it was a grift in real time. They had a small print disclaimer saying funds could go to PAC. He is not guilty of a crime for this.

Lots of BLM rioters went to prison. I don't know how many ended up in solitary confinement.

Who got 17 months in solitary and was it actually solitary or was it for his own protection, to keep him out of the general population?

You're a stooge 99% never got charged and were released a mere hours after their arrests.

Yes, a huge number of people were never charged because they were only arrested for typical, non-violent crimes like curfew violations or not leaving an area when asked.

If you did even an ounce of research, you would see all the George Floyd rioters who were put in prison for things like arson and destruction of property, but you have absolutely no interest in facts

They arrest 5 out of 100 rioters and arsonist.

 "Looking at years in prison" is not the same as being sentences to years in prison.  There's a range of sentences for all crimes. If this guy didn't do anything dumb, like assault a cop, he won't get years in prison.

WRONG. It happened because we ALL saw the laws being changed illegally to facilitate what we always thought, but now know was happening, fraudulent ballot stuffing

The courts determined that some laws were changed illegally. Jan 6th happened because people believed Trump and other dishonest people spreading lies about the election.

To this day, there has been no meaningful voter fraud found. That includes ballot box stuffing.

Every night we saw thousands of rioters and wed hear that 10-20 got arrested, 8-18 would be released immediately with no charges filed, and 1-4 would get actual charges.

The other 1895 rioters got away with free stuff and left a warzone.
