It's hilarious that people are so fired up about rioters being punished...

When did an antifa or BLM "rioters" ever get 17 months (and counting) in solitary confinement?

Lots of BLM rioters went to prison. I don't know how many ended up in solitary confinement.

Who got 17 months in solitary and was it actually solitary or was it for his own protection, to keep him out of the general population?

You're a stooge 99% never got charged and were released a mere hours after their arrests.

Yes, a huge number of people were never charged because they were only arrested for typical, non-violent crimes like curfew violations or not leaving an area when asked.

If you did even an ounce of research, you would see all the George Floyd rioters who were put in prison for things like arson and destruction of property, but you have absolutely no interest in facts

"Looking at years in prison" is not the same as being sentences to years in prison.  There's a range of sentences for all crimes. If this guy didn't do anything dumb, like assault a cop, he won't get years in prison.

It's hilarious that people are so fired up about rioters being punished, but nobody cares that it only happened because Trump is a liar.
WRONG. It happened because we ALL saw the laws being changed illegally to facilitate what we always thought, but now know was happening, fraudulent ballot stuffing

GOOD. the Jan6th people should be treated a FRACTION like those people were. That they are not is a TRAVESTY of Justice. The people that “attacked our country” did so in the name of BLM and George Floyd NOT in the name of Donald Trump!!!

The courts determined that some laws were changed illegally. Jan 6th happened because people believed Trump and other dishonest people spreading lies about the election.

To this day, there has been no meaningful voter fraud found. That includes ballot box stuffing.

2000 Mules doesn't even prove any meaningful amount of ballot harvesting happened, much less proving that a single one of the "harvested" ballots were even fraudulent.  If 100 ballots were harvested, ever single one of the could be a perfectly legal and valid ballot.

Records rebut claims of unequal treatment of Jan. 6 rioters

Itâ€s a common refrain from some of those charged in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and their Republican allies: The Justice Department is treating them harshly because of their political views while those arrested during last yearâ€s protests over racial injustice were given leniency.

Court records tell a different story.

An Associated Press review of court documents in more than 300 federal cases stemming from the protests sparked by George Floydâ€s death last year shows that dozens of people charged have been convicted of serious crimes and sent to prison.

The AP found that more than 120 defendants across the United States have pleaded guilty or were convicted at trial of federal crimes including rioting, arson and conspiracy. More than 70 defendants whoâ€ve been sentenced so far have gotten an average of about 27 months behind bars. At least 10 received prison term

The dissonance between the rhetoric of Capitol rioters and their supporters and the record established by courts highlights both the racial tension inherent in their arguments — the pro-Donald Trump rioters were largely white and last summerâ€s protesters were more diverse — and the flawed assessment at the heart of their claims.

“The property damage or accusations of arson and looting from last year, those were serious and they were dealt with seriously, but they werenâ€t an attack on the very core constitutional processes that we rely on in a democracy, nor were they an attack on the United States Congress,” said Kent Greenfield, a professor at Boston College Law School.

To be sure, some defendants have received lenient deals.

At least 19 who have been sentenced across the country got no prison time or time served, according to the APâ€s review. Many pleaded guilty to lower-level offenses, such as misdemeanor assault, but some were convicted of more serious charges, including civil disorder.

“The Trump campaign knew these claims of voter fraud were false yet they continued to barrage small-dollar donors with emails encouraging them to donate to something called the ‘Official Election Defense fund.†The select committee discovered no such fund existed,” she added.

Trump raised $250m to fight non-existent voter fraud but gave most of it to his own PAC, Jan 6 committee hears

Donald Trumpâ€s presidential campaign raised $250 million from supporters by telling them the money would be used to fight voter fraud, but the campaign knew those claims of fraud were bogus and instead diverted the money to his own political organisation, the House committee investigating the January 6 attacked claimed on Monday.

Mr Trumpâ€s campaign sent millions of fundraising emails to supporters encouraging them to donate to help fight voter fraud between election day and January 6, the committee said. Many of those emails asked supporters to donate to an “election defense fund” for legal cases related to the election.

However, an investigator for the committee said that fund did not exist, and most of that money went Mr Trumpâ€s ‘Save America†political action committee, not to election-related litigation.

The evidence highlights how the Trump campaign pushed false election claims to fundraise, telling supporters it would be used to fight voter fraud that did not exist,” said Amanda Wick, senior investigative counsel for the House committee.

House committee member Zoe Lofgren, a Democratic congresswoman from California, said President Trump “used the lies he told to raise millions of dollars from the American people.”

We all knew it was a grift in real time. They had a small print disclaimer saying funds could go to PAC. He is not guilty of a crime for this.
