Not that I expect the House to do anything about the alleged perjury….
If she's acknowledging that she's only regurgitating a story she was told, I don't see how she can be accused of perjury. If she sticks to the story and the person denies he said it AND another person in the room corroborates it's possible. Obviously the little bimbo is FOS though. We had four years of this crap in the media and now Congress. Liberals are just the scum of the Earth.

I love how she talks about campaigns to smear Hutchinson†s credibility.  Lol.  What, like from actual eye witness testimony?
Liz is playing so fast, loose and what appears to be absolute desperation that I†m wondering if her azz could be in some sort of ringer.  Especially if Trump gets re-elected.  You don†t go this far into obvious desperation over some great reset/new world order.  This is just looking too sloppy and desperate for that.

Rudy Giuliani, Lindsey Graham, John Eastman and several others in the former president†s orbit were subpoenaed in the election meddling inquiry.
Seven advisers and allies of Donald J. Trump, including Rudolph W. Giuliani and Senator Lindsey Graham, were subpoenaed on Tuesday in the ongoing criminal investigation in Georgia of election interference by Mr. Trump and his associates. The move was the latest sign that the inquiry has entangled a number of prominent members of Mr. Trump†s orbit, and may cloud the future for the former president.
The subpoenas underscore the breadth of the investigation by Fani T. Willis, the district attorney of Fulton County, which encompasses most of Atlanta. She is weighing a range of charges, according to legal filings, including racketeering and conspiracy, and her inquiry has encompassed witnesses from beyond the state. The latest round of subpoenas was reported earlier by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The Fulton County investigation is one of several inquiries into efforts by Mr. Trump and his team to overturn the election, but it is the one that appears to put them in the greatest immediate legal jeopardy. A House committee continues to investigate the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. And there is an intensifying investigation by the Justice Department into a scheme to create slates of fake presidential electors in 2020.
Amid the deepening investigations, Mr. Trump is weighing an early entrance into the 2024 presidential race; people close to him have said he believes it would bolster his claims that the investigations are politically motivated.

The Fulton County prosecutor conducting the "investigation" of Trump. Remember Fulton County is so corrupt the state had to take over elections there.

So far the committee has yet to address anything related to Capitol security. It's all Trump, Trump, Trump. Â
Also, there's the white elephant in the room: the 4 cop suicides. If hostile crowd treatment is what somehow pushed these guys over the edge, then why weren't there tons of cop suicides over the the course of the 2020 riots?

The investigation is because of potential operational issues. Also, the investigation is still going on, so the state hasn't taken over anything.
10 months into Fulton election probe, state investigation still ‘ongoingâ€
by Tammy Joyner June 15, 2022
Nearly a year into a state-sanctioned probe of Georgia†s largest county elections operation, investigators have yet to release the findings from their performance review.
The State Elections Board appointed the three-member performance review panel 10 months ago to determine if the Fulton County Elections Board is operationally sound or should be taken over by the state.
“The panel†s work is ongoing,†said the Secretary of State†s office spokesperson Walter Jones. “I don†t think they had a deadline.â€
Veteran Georgia political watcher Charles Bullock told Atlanta Civic Circle the ongoing probe indicates that the Fulton elections operation “is in a probationary period. [The performance review panel] can step in whenever they feel they need to.â€
For an update, Atlanta Civic Circle contacted the review panel†s three members–Stephen Day, a Democrat on the Gwinnett County Elections Board; Rickey Kittle, a Republican who chairs the Catoosa County Elections Board; and Ryan Germany, general counsel for the Secretary of State†s office. Day and Kittle did not respond, while Germany referred questions to the Secretary of State†s office.

Just did a little search on these suicides. Only thing found was the MSM company line. Or, OR articles mentioning "conspiracy theories" regarding the officers' suicides. Â
Maybe it could be as simple as DC's crime issue and this event pushed them all over the top? Â
This isn't the first riot situation where cops were outnumbered (that's another story the "committee" will not address) and harassed. There has to be more to this story, but no one seems to want to pursue it. But hey, maybe cop suicides after riot situations are typical? Â

I doubt the media is going to create another narrative for these suicides. They have already dishonestly claimed 5 cops died as a result of the January 6 "riots" as part of their smear against Trump and supporters at the start of the show trial.

Liz's farewell tour is almost up. I'm sure she'll try to burn everything down around her even more if she loses her primary (which she will). Â
Liz is another sign that the rino is about to be placed on the endangered species list. That's a good thing. Tired of being lied to in campaigns and then watching the 180's when they govern. By Liz. Don't let the door hit ya...

Judge shreds Bannon defenses ahead of contempt trial
Trump White House aide†s bid to delay case due to Jan. 6 panel hearings is denied.
A federal judge on Monday eviscerated nearly all of Steve Bannon†s defenses against a charge that he criminally defied a subpoena from the Jan. 6 select committee, leaving the longtime Donald Trump ally with few options to fight the contempt of Congress case against him.
U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols also denied Bannon†s bid to postpone for three months the jury trial set to open next Monday, rejecting defense arguments that such a delay was warranted due to intense media coverage around the ongoing House hearings on the Capitol siege. Bannon†s attorneys contended Trump†s sudden move to abandon executive privilege claims for Bannon should also spark a delay, but the judge rejected that as well.
The Trump-appointed judge said thorough questioning of potential jurors could almost certainly resolve potential prejudice. And if it couldn†t, Nichols added, he would revisit the issue after jury selection.
After a two-and-a-half-hour hearing which Bannon elected not to attend, Nichols returned to the bench Monday afternoon to spend nearly an hour delivering oral rulings that left the defense case in tatters. Bannon†s legal team appeared flummoxed by the result.
“What†s the point in going to trial here if there are no defenses?†attorney David Schoen declared in court after Nichols wound up his rulings from the bench.
The judge†s orders seem to ensure that a high-profile trial of one of Trump†s closest allies in his effort to subvert the 2020 election will move forward at a rapid clip. The Justice Department has estimated it could put on the prosecution case in a single day. Bannon†s team initially estimated it could take two weeks to air a defense, however, Nichols on Monday also cut off nearly every avenue of Bannon†s proposed defenses, ruling them irrelevant to the alleged crime against him.
The judge picked apart Bannon†s claim that his decision to stonewall the select committee in October was justified — either due to his position as a former White House adviser to Trump or because of internal Justice Department memos describing limitations on congressional subpoenas.
Nichols said Bannon would not be permitted to argue that executive privilege excused his decision to completely defy the select committee subpoena. Nichols also rejected Bannon†s effort to subpoena Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the Jan. 6 select committee.
