What an awful story. We need to let some school officials have guns on them. That would help to deter and mitigate such a slaughter.

I don†t know of any teacher that opposes such a thing. We have two officers on campus. Both are SWAT and one is former special forces.

Im against this because of just that conceal carry. Any Jackass can get a CCL. What is it 6-8 hours? That†s nowhere near enough training. If that†s the situation, teachers and students would be between a nut job with a gun and an active shooter.
If you want teachers with guns…96 hour training. 6 months of psychological testing. (All paid of course). They need to go through police academy type training.
You guys have zero respect for the profession and in these times you want them armed. It†s a paradox.
