If style of president's behavior is the key factor, yes, similar situation.  If the results of president's actions/policies, then no they are not similar.  i.e. it's tough to make their public personas look good, but Trump's policies were very easy to defend and made Trump look good.  Whereas Biden is a walking sh1t show in every sense of the word. f.e. Kaylie looked good by comparison to Psaki.
