Did you guys all see what "Biden" did???
The market adjusts according to supply. Biden thinks itâ€s better that Saudi Arabia, Russia and Iran supply than the USA. Some idea that their production wonâ€t pollute, but ours will? Or just a shell game where as long as itâ€s NIMBY, itâ€s ok? Whatever, heâ€s contributing greatly to the supply issues.

No longer GroupThink 'woke'.  but it was fun while it lasted.

He killed more than 1 pipeline, that was just the famous one, there have been dozens of others blocked as well.

Yep.  XL the biggie though
Sure, but rest assured the oil speculators know about these smaller ones and it is having an impact on fossil fiel futures rates such as OIL, NG, and LNG.

The XL pipeline wasn't going to be done for years.

And yet pricing for commodities runs years out with forward looking projects for supply and once that massive pipeline was shut down it meant long term supply shortages.

The XL never transported a drop of oil.  It was only about 10% finished.  Taking away something that produced nothing, doesn't create a shortage.

The market reacts to stuff like that.  Never mind all the jobs the pipeline wouldâ€ve created.

Ignore the childish green movement for a second and pretend weâ€re still governed by sane people:  why would you cut down on domestic production in favor of our enriching our competition? Dodgy  Killing American jobs in the process.

Exactly, these oil people look at stuff that will impact short and long term supply and in the long term they had expected Keystone to flow millions of barrels of oil into the US market, but POOF.... it was gone.

So the market reacted accordingly

I read that thread and I didn't see him mention the local news where lrrps lives which I assume is the NJ/NYC area. He'd have to be dumb enough to ride the short bus with you to say that. Link?
He was discussing dayton local news, because he and I both lived there.

The news media in Dayton is hardly right wing, if anything it is fairly moderate and non partisan.

Your post was a lie and a grammatical disaster and your response to me is nonsensical.

One possible consideration, and I'm giving out government a lot of credit here, is that they are protecting our supply knowing that there is a finite amount of oil in the Earth.

Not even you would actually buy into that one.

Just saw something about a health care provision being in the bill?  Ya gotta love how this govt functions now.  Cram everything into these giant bills so no one knows what the hell is going on.

We need a hard reset back to actually following the rules
