For the record.....I only saw a dress.

"Do you see Minnie in a dress or do you see Mickey holding a penis?"

'You see what you want to see bro': Twitter belittles GOP state senate candidate for melting down over a gift card

[Image: ?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.alternet.org%2Fme...webp&w=640]
Jarrin Jackson, a Republican candidate for the Oklahoma State Senate, released a video this week accusing Disney of employing "pedophiles" because of a dress that Minnie Mouse wore on the front face of a gift card.

The illustration depicts Mickey hugging his companion Minnie, who is sporting a blue dress with her arm around Mickey's shoulder. Jackson, however, saw something completely different.

"Disney has for the longest time been a 'children,' entertainment institution. This is a gift card taken last week at a Target store. What do you see? What do you see? What do you see in that image? Do you see Minnie in a dress or do you see Mickey holding a penis?" Jackson ruminated. "The people at Disney are pedophiles. The people at Disney are pushing a Satanic, godless, child-predatory perspective."

This is NOT a far right story, but I didn't know where else to put it....

This is an example of how the "They are so unfair and biased" works both ways.

The scale of importance most definitely varies depending on which side you're on.  For Liberals, the fact that Trump is basically looking for help from Putin is a big deal.

Exactly. Why would anyone care about Ginni Thomas? Answer is no one really does including most liberals. Trump is a dirtbag news at 11. The POTUS' son is a crook selling influence and the POTUS may be implicated? That's news. Or Russian disinformation, I get mixed up.

Fox viewers transformed after watching CNN for 30 days, report finds

Study finds changes in attitudes, policy preferences about Covid-19, then president Donald Trump

Fox News viewers who were paid to watch CNN for 30 days eventually became more skeptical and less likely to buy into fake news, according to a new study.
The study titled “The manifold effects of partisan media on viewers†beliefs and attitudes: A field experiment with Fox News viewers” by David E Brockman and Joshua L Kalla was conducted in September 2020 and published last week.

“Of 763 qualifying participants, we then randomised 40 per cent to treatment group. To change the slant of their media diet, we offered treatment group participants $15 per hour to watch 7 hours of CNN per week, during Sept. 2020, prioritising the hours at which participants indicated they typically watched Fox News,” the study said.

The study found changes in attitudes and policy preferences about Covid-19, evaluations of then president Donald Trump and Republican candidates as well as elected officials.

“Despite regular Fox viewers being largely strong partisans, we found manifold effects of changing the slant of their media diets on their factual beliefs, attitudes, perceptions of issues†importance, and overall political views,” the authors of the study said.

What?  You mean we are actually products of what we consume?  We are influenced by the people we allow in our lives?  My mind is blown!

Strange they didn't do a study of CNN viewer's belief in lies after watching Fox. Perhaps they wouldn't believe Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation and Trump "colluded" with Russia.  Not actual scientists and not an actual study. Pseudoscience and a pseudostudy and has no value or meaning.

I don't buy it.  This was not a study.  It was completely rigged and controlled by Lefty propagandists with a predetermined outcome which is now being disseminated on hundreds of Lefty websites which you can see if you google.  It is just what they do.  And people like Pitch fall for it every time
"Hightop can reduce an entire message board of men to mudsharks. It's actually pretty funny to watch."

What percentage of Democrats do you believe currently believe Hunter's laptop is a lie?

How do you think that compares to the percentage of Conservatives believe the election was stolen or Covid is a lie, the mask mandate was to test out willingness to be controlled, etc?
