zigbeeOhio St. OL Harry Miller to quit football immediately
#25
I lived in Buford Georgia for 2 years and watched Harry play. He was a man amongst little boys. Harry was/has been a very spiritual man and attended a Christian Church in Buford which is well north of Atlanta.

He is going to be fine. He is going back to his missionaries kids that love him. He would/could/ have been a NFL player and 1st round draft pick but Jesus has better plans for him. We love you you Harry and so do the children that you have touched hearts with your missionary trips.

Buckeye Nation Loves you Harry!!!!!!

Thank you sir. I honestly cannot describe the horror that I've seen in her, she is in the deepest and darkest place that a human being can be in. I am incapable of helping her, because she is at the point where only a person turning to God can be fixed or redeemed.

It's honestly something that you would see in an exorcist movie or something from the old testament.

All I can say is that our world has a massive dark cloud hanging over it and only jesus' saving grace can help us right now.

Itâ€s always been this way, but Iâ€d agree, the dark clouds seem to be descending and covering more and more. My prayer is that she find the light of Christ and the hope that comes from knowing Him.

Weâ€ve been through a deep valley with our eldest son for years, and itâ€s even harder when itâ€s your child than going thru it yourself. You want to take it from them but canâ€t.

No longer GroupThink 'woke'.  but it was fun while it lasted.

Dang Dave, I'm sorry to hear about all this. Maybe a social worker or psychiatrist can dig down deep enough to find out where the true problem is, and hence get the healing started. Does she have a clinical/medical diagnosis?

Shes had several counselors and shrinks and she's been taking meds for a long time, but nothing works because she doesn't WANT to get better, so its like taking someone to AA and they still think it's a good idea to hang out in bars.

I found her an inpatient center that is voluntary and would help her get long term stability but she wants to put it off.

Yes her diagnosis is called dissociative identity disorder, which is kind of like a form of schizophrenia from what I've been told. So basically she has several very distinctive outward personalities.

When she's with her friends she is like motley Crüe, when she is alone she self mutilates herself with knives by cutting up and down her arms and body to torture herself and to scare people and to manipulate them into doing what they want or she'll threaten to cut herself or to kill herself and when she is with me she acts like it is little house on the prairie.

She is stable and I'm begging the hospital to admit her to an inpatient facility for as long as possible.

This is her 3rd or 4th attempt and maybe she is doing it for attention or maybe she really wants to die, but either way she could accidentally kill herself doing this crazy *****.

Yeah she is her own worst enemy, she always had issues from say 13-18 but did finish HS and did have a job when she left and was fairly responsible.

However she has major issues with becoming obsessed with whatever girlfriend that she has at the time and has serious problems with needing to spend 247/365 with her. Meaning that she stopped even holding down a job because she was too unstable.

I have been visiting her in the hospital every day but its only for 1 hour. Today wasn't a good visit as I tried talking her into going directly rol the hospital to an inpatient facility yo spend 2-4 weeks getting higher medications stabilized and being in the group and private therapy sessions.

However she said that she wants to spend 1 night with her GF before doing it, but the thing is that her GF broke up with her and she is still so fixated on it that she is ignoring her treatment

I hope that she goes the day after, but I'm sure she'll make another excuse instead.

There is truly nothing I can do except watch her destroy herself because she refuses to help herself or accept proper help.

My 26 year old daughter who lives in Atlanta has been seeing a psychiatrist for 2 years has been through many anxiety attacks which then leads to migraine headaches. She is doing much better. Tell your daughter she is not alone. Some young people can not handle the pressures of today's society. It is not uncommon at all.

I pray that she understands her strength's and that she knows she is a strong person and that when she gets everything together she can be an inspiration to others that are in her same situation. When someone has been there they are the greatest teachers to relate to others that are in same situation.

Lifting your daughter up and put it in God's hands. God Bless brother.

I appreciate it, she's been told this and she probably knows, but se always used words like "can't" and I hate the use of it, because the numberof things that a person can't do is quite small, we just have to work at it
