Too many weak and stupid people.  The smear campaign against Trump was unprecedented and it spite of a presidency that was largely successful in terms of its effect on the country, the smear campaign was more successful because too many Americans are fools.  It's a focked up country and one that is not capable of self government.  That is why we wound up with a corrupt senile used car salesman in the White House and a Congress led by rats like Schumer and Pelosi.  In a sane country, Trump would have won a 49-50 state landslide.

You sound exactly like me during the 2016 primaries.  I sh1t on Trump constantly and got into some pretty heated arguments.  Paul, then Cruz were my picks.  Anyway, once Trump won the nomination I rolled with him over Ma.  Then as president he mostly delivered.  Won me over.
