Yep. Â XL the biggie though
The XL pipeline wasn't going to be done for years. And yet pricing for commodities runs years out with forward looking projects for supply and once that massive pipeline was shut down it meant long term supply shortages.

The XL never transported a drop of oil. It was only about 10% finished. Taking away something that produced nothing, doesn't create a shortage.

The market reacts to stuff like that.  Never mind all the jobs the pipeline would†ve created. Â
Ignore the childish green movement for a second and pretend we†re still governed by sane people:  why would you cut down on domestic production in favor of our enriching our competition?  Killing American jobs in the process.

Exactly, these oil people look at stuff that will impact short and long term supply and in the long term they had expected Keystone to flow millions of barrels of oil into the US market, but POOF.... it was gone.
So the market reacted accordingly

He'd have to be dumb enough to ride the short bus with you to say that. Link? He was discussing dayton local news, because he and I both lived there.
The news media in Dayton is hardly right wing, if anything it is fairly moderate and non partisan.

One possible consideration, and I'm giving out government a lot of credit here, is that they are protecting our supply knowing that there is a finite amount of oil in the Earth.

Not even you would actually buy into that one.

Just saw something about a health care provision being in the bill? Â Ya gotta love how this govt functions now. Â Cram everything into these giant bills so no one knows what the hell is going on. Â
We need a hard reset back to actually following the rules

Rates are/were set to go up quite a bit on those super desirable “Obamacare†plans this year…they†re kicking that can down the road.
There isn†t a hard enough reset to happen without a TOTAL reset, and that†ll never happen

He deserves to be abused. The real abuse victim in this is the country as unaccountable rats hiding in the shadows run the country into the ground.
