It’s for semis, not regular cars, but still dumb.

Yep. Commercial trucks….

I hate semis on the highway, and hate them 40x more off the interstate. Don’t support nanny state bs on them, but can’t stand them in general-and one of my best friends is a trucker, lol.

They are the lifeblood of our economy, a necessary evil.  I do think they should be banned from certain roadways during rush hours, but that may not be feasible.

I don't know about semis but I have the impression that a lot of construction companies hire the lowest of derelicts to haul away debris from construction sites in huge trucks and they end up causing some pretty serious and deadly accidents.

Incrementalism, that's what leftists do. What will be next, then after that and on is the question.

Of course, it is stupid.

Most of them are good drivers. The problem is the average normal driver doesn't know how to deal with them. You have to be way ahead of them or way behind. That's what causes the crashes.

The NTSB is asking the federal govt to incentivize car makers to do it to all cars.

In England they just made it mandatory for all cars.

This NY senator just out forth a bill.

Go back to sleep.
