2020 Wonderlic Quarterback Scores Revealed
#1
Jeff Kerr, CBS Sports, April 21, 2020 from American Renaissance
{snip}

[Tua] Tagovailoa scored a 13 on the Wonderlic test, the lowest score among the quarterbacks in the 2020 draft class (per The Athleticâ€s Bob McGinn). LSUâ€s Joe Burrow, the projected No. 1 overall pick in the draft, had the third-highest score at 34. Iowaâ€s Nate Stanley scored the highest grade at 40, followed by Georgiaâ€s Jake Fromm at 35.

The Wonderlic test is used at the NFL scouting combine, with quarterbacks and offensive linemen usually posting higher scores than the average of 20. The test is used to measure general cognitive ability in three areas: math, vocabulary, and reasoning. The test has 50 multiple choice questions that are to be answered in 12 minutes.
{snip}

Hereâ€s a look at the scores of the 12 quarterbacks who took the Wonderlic in 2020:

Nate Stanley (Iowa): 40
Jake Fromm (Georgia); 35
Joe Burrow (LSU): 34
Jake Luton (Oregon State): 29
Jordan Love (Utah State): 27
Justin Herbert (Oregon): 25
Anthony Gordon (Washington State): 25
Brian Lewerke (Michigan State): 25
Jacob Eason (Washington): 23
James Morgan (Florida International): 23
Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma): 18
Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama): 13

A fact that matters to exactly 0 NFL teams.

Low Wonderlic scores are like a Power 5 football conference team struggling offensively against a Div 2 team:  It's not the end of the world, but it's definitely something to be aware of and potentially worry about.

Lamar Jackson scored 13.  Ryan Fitzpatrick scored a 48, I believe.

Think about how boring it would be here if everyone only posted things that were necessary.

Tuanigamanuolepola "Tua" Tagovailoa (/ËŒtʌŋoÊŠvaɪˈloÊŠÉ/ TUNG-oh-vai-LOA; born March 2, 1998) is an American football quarterback. He played college football at the University of Alabama. He is of Samoan descent and was born and raised in Hawaii, where he attended Saint Louis School in Honolulu.

I see how the mistake was made.  Tuanigamanuolepola is a very common "black" name.  ha ha ha

If a P5 standout struggles against an FCS opponent, the NFL will label him as "inconsistent."

It will definitely hurt their draft stock.

Terry Bradshaw couldn't spell cat ..even when he had the C and the T.  He was decent NFL QB.
