To call this an "outline" is being rather generous.  It's nothing more than a statement of goals.  As much as I was prepared to have some fun at this notion, this isn't even fun at all.  It's not even burfle.

No, but the real funny part is that even if it did, there is NOTHING to it.

Not a single thing beyond a statement of some very very ill defined goals.  It does not include a single proposal to DO anything.

We might as well pass a resolution to say we want to cure cancer.

Not without a few revisions but the House could pass it for symbolism but it would obviously die quickly in the Senate.

A Republican "judo" move would be to pass this "Resolution" and then claim they compromised with Democrats and the problem is now solved, most along.

But isn't that what Marxist legislation is all about?  Everything is going to be free, everyone who wants to work is going to have a high paying job, and everyone is going to be equal.  That is the economics equivalent of curing cancer by law.

I don't think the R's are savvy enough to think at that level.

Of course they aren't. Anyone taking this "Resolution" seriously as being anything is not paying attention though.

And people who aren't alarmed about the future of the country by looking at this legislation are not paying attention either.

This is a large whopping piece of nothing. One at best could claim we have to start somewhere and this is symbolic, but it really is nothing.

The Democrats running for President can say they are for this easily enough because it's nothing.

I suppose one might wonder if something with some specifics could follow. Maybe this is intended as a nothing to give them cover with their base, who will think it is a something?
