Contrast that with the party going ALL-OUT after a handful of nutcases that took selfies in the Capitol. The problem, of course, is that they all work for China. The Democrats will do nothing to China.

Remember the good ole days when the biggest scandals were toe tappers at men's bathroom stalls? Today it seems like at least half of DC is willing to sell this nation out to the highest bidder. Kill some Americans in the mean time? Meh. No biggie.

K9.....you are pegging the hyperbole meter lately....the only way this is true is that one has to believe that the CCP intentionally developed and released the virus.....and there aren't but a handful of knowledgeable people that believe that. Even those that believe that the CCP is covering up, of which I am one, don't go as far as the intentionality.
As far as the 'all Democrats work for China'......that's just nonsense.

What's hyperbolic about it? Democrat leadership f*cks CCP spies and not a single Democrat believes that traitor should be removed from his committee position. No Democrats say a negative thing about China regardless of their actions and even call Trump racist for using the term China Flu. The current POTUS has a son who gets paid large sums of the money through the CCP for phony business deals and nobody blink an eye. Get your head out of your azz.

The Chinese are culpable for their response and for their continued behaviors that lead to these situations. They are also stonewalling investigations and engaging in propaganda regarding origins. There should be consequences and payment.Â
Did they do it on purpose? I can't believe they're that stupid and reckless.

What has happened to reading comprehension in this country? Hyperbole is a legitimate way to say something strongly to get the point across. It is a way to communicate. Maybe you don't understand what it means. What he said was more precisely truthful than hyperbole.

Can you cite a SINGLE Democrat of any influence or power who actually had the stones to say "Swallwell needs to be removed from his committee positions" at a very bare minimum?
I've just spent a few minutes looking and can't find a single one. Assuming that's true, that means that "all" political Dem actors do tacitly approve of it.
Boy, that wasn't very hard to connect those dots at all...

Even if China didn't purposefully release the virus, they are still responsible for a ton of deaths across the world, because they withheld information that would have been useful in combating the virus early on.
By March, they had to have known the virus affects older people on a much broader scale than younger people. That would have been very important information.
They had to have known it was airborne, but they put out information saying it wasn't until it was already on our shores, and then they were like "Oh crap, our bad, it is airborne."
They withheld information on their true infection rate and death rate, which would have been extremely helpful in what kind of response we gave to the virus. To this day, I believe they said they only had 3K deaths, or something like that, despite the fact that we have pictures of mass cremations and new emergency hospitals they were building in response to this. Like we are going to believe they shut whole cities of tens of millions of people down enforced by military presence because of 3K people dying.

Maybe we'll employ harsh language.
Politicians respond to public pressure (usually), the response often is tepid and meant to see like a response when it's window dressing, like the VP going to CA to give a speech. yay.
I don't expect anything from either political party that is real.
I'm against all over generalizations.

Yep. They tried to contain the information until they couldn't deny it any longer.Â

They knew that likely one or two months before March.Â
They had to have known it was airborne, but they put out information saying it wasn't until it was already on our shores, and then they were like "Oh crap, our bad, it is airborne."
Worse than that they denied it was transmitting between humans at all long after they knew and the WHO disseminated that information. Reports indicate Wuhan doctors knew this was likely in late December and the government surely knew and said so in internal documents by Jan.13 even though days later they publicly said it was unlikely.Â

They pretty much lied about everything. In addition they are now engaged in a propaganda effort. Actively preventing investigations into origins and promoting an outside of China origin.

Boy, that wasn't very hard to connect those dots at all... So, a couple things.
I think it's a deep shame, and stain, on our country when our leaders do not call out wrongdoing. I believe that Eric Swalwell at least, and Diane Feinstein most likely, should both be removed from committee positions.Â
With that said....I fully believe that they haven't been called out because....not ownership by China......but ownership by the lust for power and the inability to be servant leaders as a result. Admission of wrongdoing/error/inappropriate behavior would damage that lust for power and they can't have that. Â
The problem with using hyperbole all the time, which is happening more and more, is that it loses its value. It's the 'boy who cried wolf' enacted in real life. Things may be(and IMO are) very bad right now, but the sky is not falling everywhere all the time. And to read many posts, it is. And that is a fallacy.

So for you, hyperbole is when someone says something that is likely true but your perception is so vanilla and bland that instead of accepting it as true, you have a knee jerk reaction and call it hyperbole.
