When did his free speech get taken away?
January 7. Have you been in a cave?

Last I heard his speech wasn't restricted. He certainly said what he wanted at CPAC, and it was broadcast pretty widely. Did I miss something?

Oh, but two companies did decide they didn't want to offer their services to him. That did happen.
Two of the most widely read companies on the face of the Earth.

So? People have been banned from Walmart. People have had Amazon accounts cancelled.

Not remotely. Especially for a President

Haha, they wouldn't "offer their services to him." You libs really have a way with words. Masters of manipulating the English language to distort messages. Lemme guess....you don't believe in "aborting unborn babies," instead you support a "woman's right to choose?"

What is inaccurate about what I wrote?
The "services provided" by these companies are a platform for "free speech." So while it is technically correct that they declined to offer "services" to DJT, this (intentionallt) leaves out the relevant point of what those services are. They are "free speech" so you are absolutely lying when you claim he didn't have his free speech removed. This stuff really isn't complex, it only gets tricky when leftists try to manipulate through using language "tricks," which is what propagandists do.

They're A platform, not THE platform. And the government certainly didn't remove the public forum. I will be the first to agree that the FAANGs of the world need a touch of trustbusting. But it's not like they're the only way to get a message out.

Lefties like Jacket only get worked up when black people are denied services.

I support the right of a private business to control its customer base on whatever grounds they deem suitable.
I'm against all over generalizations.

Ask the main stream media, facebook, twitter......

Name me a country, that wasn't deplorable, that banned books and limited free speech.  This country is turning into a 3rd world outhouse thanks to you liberals.

What no more sexual identity for Mr Potato Head, does that mean there will be no more Tater Tots?

I think you worry too much. What books have been banned? The publishers of Dr Seuss decided to remove four SKUs. What free speech has been limited? People can still speak their mind. I couldn't be more indifferent to Mr/Ms Potato Head. We have Ms on the coffee table right now. My kid plays with it on occasion.

I would be sympathetic to that view if power and access wasn't so narrowly controlled. Jacket said something about a little trust busting. I think we need a lot of trust busting at this time. Not just the Twits and Amazons but they are definitely far too powerful.

The left is called a lot of things, but never an advocate for free speech.
Anti-individualistic, the Fascist conception of life stresses the importance of the State and accepts the individual only in so far as his interests coincide with those of the State...

The left is very anti free speech. It started on campus and is now nationwide. They quibble that it isn't the government so essentially the first amendment stands but that's incredibly disingenuous. I have no doubt given their animosity to free speech and open discourse they will be working hard to further erode the first as well. As of now they're making the first amendment somewhat moot.
