Many join due to fact I don't allow people to just read our content WITHOUT joining.   For a long time youtube allowed me to post our WWW.website, and many who joined after seeing this in comment section of Youtube did so from curiosity.    I also belong to sites like Redzone and go by zigbeenuthouse.com.  Some come here to find out about our site but just sign up and leave.   

I've learned a good bit about sites over the last couple years.  The are like neighborhoods.  People get comfortable, like the audience, feel a part of the group and stick around and either just read (Wolfman, Ain'tnolaws, Davisa1204) or join in and post some.  Some are intimidated and gradually post like sticking your toe in the cold water of a swimming pool until you are comfortable to jump in.  

Bottom line is I offer a platform to post, express your views, and engage in arguments daily.   I think it runs well and I think it's one of the best if not THE BEST in the world for message boards.   Enjoy.
