Minneapolis Police officer uses knee to hold down man who can't breath
(06-11-2020, 06:46 PM)Bonebuck Wrote: Chauvin and Floyd worked together for quite a few years as security for a nightclub in MSP. The 20$ was counterfeit. I think both were involved in some type money laundering/counterfeit scheme.

A LE friend in Dallas has mentioned a connection between Houston - Dallas - Minneapolis - Chicago counterfeiting ring.
The America, and the American Military, that you once knew is gone.

1) Was the $20 bill counterfeit?  If not, why did the cashier call the cops?
2) If so, did George Floyd know the bill was counterfeit?
3) Did Floyd have a moment of repentance after his early encounters with the police?
4) If so, why were there drugs in his system on the day of his death?
5) Derek Chauvin.....what was he thinking?
6) How well did Floyd and Chauvin know each other?
7) What exactly were the 3 officers waiting for as they watched Floyd breath his last?
8) What were the other three officers thinking as they observed this for 9 minutes?
9) What was behind his wife divorcing him immediately?

We will likely never know the large part of these questions.  Derek Chauvin will give a very sanitized version where he feared for his life and had to kneel on the guy for 9 minutes.  The other officers will claim(possibly truthfully) that they were obeying the commands of a senior officer.  Noone will ever investigate the other.  The media and racial groups have their martyr, the truth of how we got to this point really doesn't matter at this point.

The biggest question, and hopefully the one that puts at least Chauvin in prison for life, why were you kneeling on the neck of a handcuffed citizen at all, much less for 8 minutes.

I'd like to see the evidence used to obtain the search warrant that resulted in the death of Breonna Taylor and that indicated drugs were being received or distributed from her apartment.  Doubt we ever will because anything showing she was involved in drug dealing is never going to see the light of day.

The better question....what judge signed off on a no-knock warrant for someone who, at most, was receiving packages.  To be clear, her and her boyfriend were never accused of dealing drugs.

If she was allowing delivery to her address then she was part of the distribution scheme.

Again, her and her boyfriend were never accused of dealing drugs.  IF you're going to no-knock, you better do it for more than the equivalent of an Amazon pickup kiosk.

You know what information was in the request for the search warrant?

The easiest question to answer is the divorce.  she is trying to protect her half of the assets from the civil suits that are coming.

I think she got some legal advice and whomever said you better get out now and get a claim to something here before his worth is zero and you are on the hook.   I think Points is spot on right.   Footage of the home they owned wasn't much.  How damn dumb do you have to be to keep the knee down?  What stupidity.

That's the thing, Zig.  Nearly everyone in the country was outrages at this scene.  The cops were arrested and jailed.  It should be a time for everyone to come together, yet what do we get?  Riots, looting, arson and more dead people.

That is exactly what I've been saying, too.   The law works.  These guys were arrested and will stand trial.  What would have been better?  Just no arrests, etc?  Then the riots would have meant something instead of a bunch of bros getting 80 inch new flat screen smart TVs.
