I haven't known anyone real well, but I knew a victim of the "Freeway Killer". He was a serial killer in S. California while I lived there in the late 70's/early 80's. The victim I knew was a bagger at the local Safeway. I thought he was about 15, but turns out he was 19 when tortured and killed. He was a very good looking young man who always had a smile on his face and I always gave him a good natured hard time.
That monster kidnapped him from the parking lot. He was sodomized, forced to drink acid and finally killed with an ice pick driven through his ear. This was the period when "The Night Stalker" and several other serial killers were terrorizing California. Boy, was I glad to get out of there.

stopped today at a Kroger owned grocer named Harris Teeter. Picked up some rye bread for the ham left over from last week. HUGE sandwich was made with the rye, ham, swiss cheese, red onion and stone ground mustard seed.
Ate that with some chili that had kidney beans, ground beef, tomato sauce and juice and canned tomatoes. Added the hot spice and cheddar cheese on top!!

"The “link” thing is a stupid game yall are playing….zig, you, whoever."
Please explain what you mean by this statement. "Stupid game" seems a little harsh (sarcasm definitely used here). This (I'll use your word from your post instead of mine) crap is why I stopped posting on and seldom read this forum anymore. You could even take it a little deeper and use "approved link" (because some links appear to some to be more viable than other links).
Opinions with no links are worthless and indefensible without "links" that prove said opinions. Don't make a statement without being able to back it up with an approved "link". One can't "win" the war of words without approved accepted "links". "Winning" is everything. I'm not sure how far back the need to "win" arguments on this board happened but it got old quite a while ago and is frankly nauseating to me. Anyway, my absence isn't noticed but I enjoyed my time here until I didn't. Your above statement hit the nail on the head for me so I thought I'd do one last post.
