Atari 2600
TI 99 - technically a computer, but mostly used for video games
Nintendo - The GOAT
Game Boy
Super Nintendo

That's about where I stopped. Someone gave me a Nintendo 64 that I maybe used twice, I got an original XBox just to play the NCAA with Maurice Clarett, which I played a ton.
I'm the same, which makes sense because we're roughly the same age.

I doubt most of the other posters on here played them much.

Yeah, and a chess/checkerboard. Or go outside (in the morning) and be back by dinner.

No, but when I worked at JCPenney I sure carried a lot of Pong boxes out to people’s cars. Now another guy on the loading dock, like me, had to be at work early, and we would go down to the Toy section and play before others showed up. He was my best buddy there, we played a LOT of air hockey in the nearby arcade after work.

Dang, you had a Magnavox Odyssey?

That's pre-Pong technology. Board games on your TV more or less.

I had no idea that Magnavox made it, but yes.

Other than our neighbors, which is how we heard about it, and our family, I've never heard of anybody else ever owning one. I assume that they were not a popular seller

Yeah, it was the first one. From what I can tell the graphics came on static cling that went over the TV screen, and the console provided three dots, one controlled by each player and one controlled by the CPU that behaves differently depending on the game. Pretty cool.

Fwiw the "Table Tennis" game on there was a Pong prototype, designed by the same guy.

A SEGA Genesis and a PS2. Played a ton of Nintendo at my buddies houses. I only had a couple of games for the SEGA, but Terry Glenn and Ray Lewis were absolute beasts on NCAA 1995. Last year I met a dude who played for Mississippi State during this time period, and I was like “Holy crap, I played you on SEGA!!”-Eric Moulds of Miss St. was another beast player on that game.
