I've seen police parking only and compact car spots.

The HDCP spaces are nearly always taken up by a fat person who gets out of the car and waddles to the electric cart at the grocery.
I see it as ironical.

I can take an extra 30 seconds walking to and from. I'd rather see a pregnant woman park in a spot than someone gaming the system w/ a handicap tag-happened all the time at tOSU on campus-chicks get daddy to pull strings and give them a HC placard, or some morbidly obese rascal jockey.........

One time at work I was walking in across the parking lot and saw a dude fly in and park in a handicap spot. He then proceeded to get out and RUN inside. Really?

Why not? I saw a guy pushing a cart with many paint containers then jump up on his truck to make room so he could load them. He left the cart right where he was parked.

UNC.....I've seen all those as well. Maybe it's more of a southern thing.
I'm frustrated by it as well, because usually they are empty spots. Except Walmart. Walmart's handicapped spots are nearly always full.

Wife and i walked out of the local Kroger last Saturday and some guy had parked right in front of the door to the right of the Handicap Parking where they had like a tear drop and white lines running through it painted on the parking lot.
Everyone has seen that kind of a safety area where you stand to cross . Anyway running down his Drivers side window was huge wad of freshly made Spit. I looked at it started laughing and showed the Wife. Her reaction was to bad somebody beat you to it. i don't mind Handicap as there are also Laws that can get you ticked for parking there. The rest are bogus and if its pouring rain or bitter cold i have no problem snagging one of them.

I donâ€t honor SOME of the signs. Home Depot Pro.....screw it. In store pickup.....screw it. Wounded Veterans and Pregnant Moms, I honor. Vendor only....screw it if I wonâ€t be long.

I am a conformist. I obey the signs and I do not take those spots. I thank God I am healthy enough to walk the extra 10 or 20 steps.
I do hate if I see someone who parks in the HC spot that should not. I have called and reported this to the police. |
