Making America Great Again
Interesting how this thread diverged from budget deficits to MJ vs alcohol.

More dishonesty or stupidity from the stoners.  So now, instead of comparing traffic fatalities of alcohol vs cannabis, you are now comparing total deaths to cannabis auto fatalities?  That is supposed to prove something?  Why not do away with all drunken driving laws since only 150 people died compared to 54,000 because of that?   I hate to say it but 3v was like Einstein in comparison.

Correct.  It's the same reasoning that I use when mocking the media for dwelling on so-called "mass" shooting.  The biggest mass shooting EVER killed 58 people.  FIFTY EIGHT people.  Literally, more people will die from the flu in the next five hours than were killed in the biggest mass shooting in our country's history.

Except the context of the discussion (and context seems to be something you have a big problem with) was with regard to comparing alcohol vs cannabis traffic fatalities.  What you posted has nothing to do with that.

Do you want to outlaw backyard pools?

Do you want to outlaw backyard pools?

Do you want to legalize personal possession of deadly nuclear materials?

There were maybe 30 more alcohol related deaths in that year.  That is easily accounted for by the fact that alcohol use is still much more prevalent than cannabis usage.  The fatal accidents due to cannabis almost doubled since 2014 when legalization started.  If the trend continues cannabis fatal accidents will soon double alcohol related ones.  And that doesn't doesn't even take into account the long term damage of cannabis.  I took away your guy's initial primary talking point and you still don't even realize it.   Huh

Not saying MJ is good choice at all.  Not saying it cannot cause a fatality.  What I'm saying is alcohol is more harmful substance than MJ in terms of addiction and destruction.

Not its not.  1)At least 10% of  cannabis users become addicted.  2)Do you actually believe 10% of the people who consume alcohol are alcoholics?     Huh

Link?  Why don't you link both?  Again, laughable to suggest alcohol is not more harmful and again you refuse to tell us where the AA like programs are and the DT symptoms for marijuana users.  Why?  There aren't any.
https://www.livescience.com/42738-mariju...fects.html   Read this and tell me alcohol is not worse.

Just failing.  Alcohol is physically addictive.  You cannot admit this?

The addiction rate for alcohol is not even remotely what it is for cannabis.  1 in 6 for people 18 and younger?  And yet the stoners and their lobby continue to recite their lies about how cannabis isn't addictive.  Stop falling for the nonsense and learn to find objective data.  I know you are smarter than this.

Yes, about 1 in 10 marijuana users will become addicted. For people who begin using younger than 18, that number rises to 1 in 6.

AND again you did not answer the questions or read the links I gave.  You are wrong.  Face it.  Alcohol is far more dangerous.  Laughable you are still arguing it.  WHERE ARE THE CLINICS?  The Hollywood recovery clinics for weed?  Come on, I HOPE you are smarter than this.  Just trying to have the last word is all you are doing and failing and looking bad.

That's not an answer to my question.

I did read one of them and it made Pitchblack appear more objective.  It made one gratuitous claim after another with no real support.  It was clearly propaganda.  I posted CDC information that gave raw statistical data.  They were not pushing an agenda. See the difference?

Well, the stakes are pretty high - as high as Gary Johnson...
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

What I see is you picking what you like and discounting what you don't.  Again, where are the AA like programs for MJ and the physical issue like DT for MJ and what about fetal alcohol syndrome for women who smoke MJ?  AND you didn't  show the addiction rate for alcohol conveniently as well.

I'll go on the record as being against outlawing underground residential pools. I don't think they make the deficit worse.

I have "possessed" in the past "deadly nuclear materials", though it was at work, and the materials were more deadly because of their chemical composition than any nuclear properties they had.

Most things in our lives are "nuclear" obviously, even families can be at times.

A brief story about how "we" figured out atomic structure. Spectroscopy had a lot to do with this, not really mentioned here.
