THE LEFT'S CHILDISH IDEOLOGY of HYPOCRISY, LIES, TANTRUMS, VITTLES AND MORE...
#91
Liberal author Fran Lebowitz quipped that President Donald Trump should suffer the same gruesome fate as journalist Jamal Khashoggi during an appearance Friday on HBO.

"We should turn him over to the Saudis, you know, his buddies," Lebowitz said on Real Time with Bill Maher. "The same Saudis who got rid of that reporter. Maybe they could do the same for him."

Some in the left-leaning crowd applauded and cheered in the clip flagged by Newsbusters editor Brent Baker.

Khashoggi, a Saudi dissident and journalist with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, was strangled by Saudi agents at their consulate in Istanbul and then dismembered with a bone saw last year, according to Turkish intelligence. The Trump administration has been fiercely criticized for not holding Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to account for his reported role in the murder, which drew outrage around the world.

Lebowitz has been a longtime critic of Trump, calling him "stupid" and a "poor person's idea of a rich person." She added Democrats should impeach Trump. Maher is one of the leading anti-Trump voices in late night, calling him a "traitor" for his campaign's Russian contacts in spite of the Robert Mueller report's conclusions.
Maher addressed the controversy later on in the program. He noted her comments had drawn a response online and she said she regretted saying it. Maher added that despite his dislike of Trump, he didn't want to see any physical harm done to him.
"I regret saying it," Lebowitz said. "I regret that everyone misinterpreted it, because they misinterpret everything."

Lmao!  She's blaming the people for misinterpreting it????  Ok sweetheart, tell us what you really meant by this quote ---  "We should turn him over to the Saudis, you know, his buddies," Lebowitz said on Real Time with Bill Maher. "The same Saudis who got rid of that reporter. Maybe they could do the same for him."

What am I, a mere simpleton, misinterpreting?

These people are absolutely unhinged.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but seriously?  How do you (Tlaib) expect people to take you seriously when you act like a petulant child?  If he committed crimes...  LIST THEM so you can justify your position like a ######g adult.

Obstruction is the oft cited crime Trump committed.

My read is that they are pushing this against their own interests (politically).  It does "hunt" with their ardent supporters, but for those in the middle, the Russia thing is over and done, they don't want to hear about it any more.  The more the Dems push impeachment, the better it is for Trump IMHO.  He's goading them to go for it in fact.

Pelosi KNOWS this is a losing hand and is trying to fend them off, but they are getting more and more aroused over it.  The Dems often live in that echo chamber on the coasts surrounded by ultra-liberal types and don't understand the middle of the country.

They desperately need a recession, or at minimum a slow down and the prospects of one.

Nice burfle... but the question is, "What are Trump's crimes?" Answer: None.

One can find legal opinions on line that Trump committed obstruction, and just as many that he did not. If those opinions align with one's political views, they become substantial and meaningful to that person.

But, as I stated, the oft cited crime is obstruction. That is a simple factual statement, not burfle.

That article lays out the details if anyone is interested. I can find all sorts of opinions on the topic, but if he's not impeached, they are moot.

The obstruction case is comically dumb. He didn't commit the crime being investigated. Took no actual action against the special counsel and blocked nothing being investigated. Being upset about being investigated for a crime that didn't happen and wanting it to stop is actually normal not obstruction. The Dems seem to me to be more and more deranged. When you make Donald Trump look like the reasonable adult in the room you've got serious problems.

Does anyone here believe that obstruction is NOT the "crime" which Dems claim Trump committed? Whether he did or not is irrelevant to the point. People asked what crime he is alleged by some to have committed.

The Dems have the power to impeach, but I don't think they will. Keeping all this front and center in the media is their gambit. CNN is pounding away at it daily, but I don't get the feeling this is wearing well in "Middle America" (by which I mean folks who could vote either way).

The Dem problem is Biden and the economy. If not Biden, their problem would become Bernie et al. They have to keep throwing mud at Trump and hope somehow something sticks with Middle America.

I believe that the Dems keep moving the goalposts, yes. First it was collusion, then it was obstruction, when that goes nowhere, it will be something else.

I think they have zeroed in on obstruction and will stick with that, coupled with how Trump is "not fit". The goal is to tarnish Trump obviously, but I wonder how this is playing among the undecideds, who likely are not paying much attention at this point.
