Wanted to clear up about the this thread closed and reopened yesterday. I did not close it. Boy Genius was listed in our moderation control for mods and admin as doing it. It's a link at bottom of page only he and I and other mods see. Its and easy mistake as he is learning the controls of the board. He does not remember clicking that link so I don't see it as a big deal as I did correct this and opened the thread.  Hope that helps here but I think P1tchblack needs to walk this back in accusing me. Thanks.

Its clear Pitch has never had to deal with getting an out of control violent individual under control.  In his mind cops should only be allowed the absolute bare minimum of force necessary to do so. Of course the problem is that is often unknown and you or others could be injured by not ending the problem decisively. She and others he has shown videos of created the situation and as long as they are fighting, police are not required to have a "fair fight" or be gentle. Its stupid, childish and naive to believe they should. If you get yourself injured acting like she did, its on YOU. End of story.

Like i said, ANYTHING is possible, however he wasn't in a prison and he wasn't breaking up a fight. He was restraining an uncooperative teenage girl.
Maybe he needs to hit the gym.
On a side note, I wrestled for 2 years in junior high, where you only attempt to restrain people that are basically identical to your size, and I can promise you that I could have taken down and restrained ANY female in my school that I out weighed by even 20 lbs.

In one of my past jobs I had this task. The goal was to eliminate the threat as quickly as possible with the appropriate amount of force needed to end the situation immediately to avoid further escalation and establish safety and control of the situation for the others around. The key is establishing safety and control  for the others around.
I would go into the situation with a general idea of the amount of force needed which depended on size, built and intensity of the individual. Most of the time the initial assessment was spot on. Sometimes I was off a bit either way and exert more force than I thought and other times I paid for not using enough force. Neither was intentional.

And maybe you need a REAL dose of reality as you speak to something you've not done. It's your opinion and has zero to do WHERE this took place. Restraining an out of control person has nothing to do with what you added.
EDIT: Had to LOL after thinking about P1tchblack saying due to him wrestling in HS he knows he could take down this particular girl. WRESTLING?? with rules? a ref? where you start squared up??? LOL

In junior high wrestling there are rules. Violent ghetto rats including female ones, have no rules. You screw around and you can get stabbed or your eye poked out trying to dance with them and be nice. They keep fighting, you put them on the ground as he did.
