But I have to say swallowing a live one is not one Iâ€ve tried yet. How stopped up do you have to be to swallow a live eel? Not just one, but two. now I have been at a restaurant where they served fish that was still moving - this is after it had been cut up at the table. But it stopped moving by the time it was prepared to eat.

BBQed eel and eel sushi is awesome w/ a little teriyaki sauce. Back in Ukraine eel was also considered quite the delicacy by my grandparents. In NOLA last weekend I had giant head on spicy garlic shrimp-they were the size of a baby rabbit. Best seafood type thing I have ever had.

Back in the 30's and through the early 60's trucks would load up on oysters and head west toward Ohio. Actually eating oysters in Ohio goes back a long way. There was a time when Grant met Sherman in Ohio and they went looking for a restaurant to find oysters to eat. Strange...

I didn't like seafood until I was 30, but tried gator long before that and thought it was delicious.
I was at a Chinese buffet a few months back, and they had "baby octopus" and it was literally a pan full of four inch whole octopi. |
