I saw an ad Mikey ran last night. He's gonna make health care affordable! Preexisting conditions will be covered. Etc... Â
Just like higher ed govt is already heavily involved in the insurance/health care industry, and the costs have spiraled out of control.  IMO, the govt has a role to get involved for people with serious and chronic health problems that drag on well beyond an insurance company's spending caps. I have no problem as a tax payer helping people to, you know... live. But I also think it should be by state, NOT at the fed level. |
