After the hostilities ended in PGWI I was tasked to be on Gen Pagonis security detail. He was the commanding General when 'Stomin Normin' left. I had 4 days R&R, so I went to visit a friend who was at KKMC. Santa might recall the place.

About an hour ride from KKMC was a small truck stop where TCN and military guides could get a hot meal, a hot shower and a cot for the night. I went with my friend so he could drop off a package to his cousin. Anyway, these dudes were standing around a burn pit the size of three in ground pools. It was pretty big. They dumped the garbage in the pit and poured gas over it. I knew what was going to happen. As we got out of the humvee one dude tossed a little torch onto the garbage. BOOOOOOOM! I could feel the pressure and the heat from 100' away. All 4 dudes sent flying about 15'. None had any serious burns or injuries outside of losing their eyebrows.
